Are you ready to soar?

September 13, 2013 | 4 comments

An airplane loaded with passengers was waiting on the tarmac at an airport for permission to leave. The captain finally broadcast over the speaker system that he had received approval to taxi onto the runway and take off. It’s about to be “Wheels up!” he declared as he signed off and prepared the plane to leave.
Are you ready for “Wheels up” today? Are you ready to move forward, progress and make larger demonstrations of spiritual truth than yesterday? If so, you’re ready to go, leave limits of the past behind and soar to greater heights.
Or, are you sitting on the tarmac feeling stuck? Waiting for permission to move? If so, maybe it’s time to make a call into God’s traffic control center—divine Mind! What is God telling you is possible today? What can you do with God’s help despite material constraints that appear?
“With God, all things are possible.” God has already given you permission to move, to go upward in thought and demonstrate boundless possibilities.
Airplanes were built to soar. So are you!

Let it be “Wheels up” from now on.

  1. The correct term for an airplane leaving is “off chocks”. A chock is a thin wedge to hold the plane while it is on the ground. When we are ready to give up our ‘chocks’ Love will remove them and we can take off. “Whatever obstructs the way…divine Love will remove.” Misc. 328

  2. And after take-off in large jets pilots seldom touch the controls after “wheels up,” except for their landing, and sometimes even these are done automatically without mortal touch. So turning everything over to God and soaring in Spirit above all human error and strife, we soar on wings supported by Love, that invisible ocean of air we fly through, trusting in His infinite care, turning ourselves over to His divine, absolutely perfect piloting skills, we always arrive at out destination safe and sound.
