Love meeting human needs

Mary Baker Eddy wrote, “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need” Science and Health, p. 494.

Here’s a short video that highlights one way Love met a human need.

The idea it shares was ingenious, incredibly resourceful and so helpful to thousands of dear ones.

When I watch this clip, it makes my heart overflow with gratitude for all the people in the world who care about others and want to make a positive difference in their lives. It’s an example of Love made practical.

  1. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and inspiring proof of divine Love to carry through the day. And it blends so perfectly with your Daily Lift message this morning – to just be patient and keep listening – reassuring me that every one of us – not just can be, but is now – an active, significant part of God’s unfolding supply for each other. Brilliant!

  2. Really brilliant. Seeing the smiles on those children’s faces brought me back to the excitement of my first days of schooling. Pure joy.
Thank you so much for sharing.

  3. What a beautiful example of divine Love meeting the human need! Thank you for sharing this, Evan! Yes, and hurray on your Daily Lift on christianscience.com. How wonderful to know that when we think God isn’t speaking to us, He is! Just waiting for the perfectly right moment to reveal His perfectly timed plan for us!

  4. What a beautiful message! The children’s smiles tell the whole story, that Divine Love is always meeting every human need. Thank you for the beautiful Daily Lift also. It is so good to know that when we think God isn’t speaking to us, He is. He is just waiting for the right moment.

  5. Inspiration is the receptivie thought that tells humanity that “Divine Love meets all human needs.” That’s all that is needed for complete fulfillment.

  6. Your blog and your Daily Lift today just go hand-in-hand so perfectly! Thank you for sharing your inspiration and love with us!

  7. Your Daily Lift was wonderful, as is this beautiful inspiring message. Going to have my grandchildren watch this. Thank you for always sharing.

  8. I love it. Such a simple, perfect idea. So easy to replace when it is worn and the students can work anywhere comfortably.
    I love it.

  9. Divine Love at work all around the globe…. I have sent this to a friend who heads an association that buys Nepalese children out of slavery and puts them in school. (In Nepal impoverished parents actually SELL their kids to hotel operators who make them work slave hours and don’t provide educartion, in gross violation of their agreement). The need is enormous–this video might give them a few ideas.
    Thanks for sharing!
