How God supplies your needs

“God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment.”

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307

  1. Thanks for sharing this idea Evan. Years ago when my business was struggling, I prayed with this statement for months. The ideas I needed came. I learned that not only do we ” wait, never doubting” but also never outlining. The improvement in my business situation came about in the most unexpected and wonderful way. Thank you thank you Father-Mother God!

  2. Yes, Evan, one of my favorite passages of Mrs. Eddy’s. Thank you. Infinite gratitude to God, infinite blessings!!!

  3. Profound in so many levels and for meeting so many needs. Not just financial, but home, companion, satisfactory job, ideas etc. etc. Thanks for the reminder.

  4. Thanks so much Evan…We always get the right ideas from your daily inspirations and all are so blessed. If we put all our trust in God’s provision and care, NEVER DOUBTING, all our needs will be met moment to moment, every moment 24/7. The word “NEVER DOUBTING” holds paramount importance. If we doubt, we lack confidence and fear takes over. When fear takes over, there is trouble. Remember Peter was able to walk on the waves with Christ Jesus as long as he put his trust in the Christ. But after seeing the mighty waves fear made home in Peters mind, and he started to sink….At this, Christ Jesus says “Why do you doubt?”, extends his hands to Peter and saves him from drowning.
We are not praying in the true sense of the word, if we doubt God’s care, if we doubt His unconditional love for us, His infinite wisdom and His good plans for us. What can God not do for us? He gives us the KINGDOM.
Yes, at times we do face trials. But “Trials are proofs of God’s care” melting and purifying the gold of human character and making it shine brilliantly, but never causing burn or hurt.
