[VIDEO] Living in God’s universe vlog

September 12, 2017 | 24 comments

Here’s another vlog I created while vacationing with my wife at Bryce Canyon last May.
My wife was photographing the milky way at 2:00 in the morning. I was standing guard and helping out, but had a lot of time to pass, so sat down on a log, turned on my iphone video camera and recorded a few thoughts that came to me while observing the awesome scene in the sky above.

Are you feeling limited in any way? Perhaps it’s time to look up and out into the infinite universe of divine Mind that is filled with unending opportunity and boundless possibility to live and experience. And time never runs short, for you have all of eternal Life to experience it.

  1. My mother said exactly the same thing to me Evan! great post about one of my favourite subjects, infinity and The Infinite!

  2. i think I like this one best of all. I love the heavens, the sky and I think watching these beautiful images gives me a better sense of the universe i live in. The quotes you chose were wonderful.
    thank you again

  3. Beautifully, profoundly, simply lovely! Thank you, Evan, for all the many inspiring and healing gifts you so generously and lovingly share!

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful unfoldmet. It really touched my heart and gives me much to think about.

  5. This was just the expanded view of the universe I needed this morning rather than ruminating over the aspect of personal problems. Kathy needs to be congratulated on her beautiful photography. And, of course, your inspiring thoughts and quotes completed this most thoughtful vlog. I visited Bryce Canyon a little over a year ago and was impressed with the awesome rock formations, but saw it only in the sunshine of day. What a spectacular combination of nature at its best.

  6. BEAUTIFUL sharing, Evan. Thank you! The Messages the stars inspire in me… higher, larger, deeper, wiser thoughts…are so….so….hard to explain! Your ideas helped!

I love the symbolism in the depths of space…of infinity of…Life! And of course, even more, of divine Love filling all space…..

As Mary Baker Eddy writes in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures:

“Unfathomable Mind is expressed. The depth, breadth, height, might, majesty, and glory of infinite Love fill all space. That is enough! Human language can repeat only an infinitesimal part of what exists.”

    (Page 520:3)

  7. Beautiful photography by Kathy and inspiring reflections by you. Thank you Evan for letting all of us vacation with you and hear how we can see spiritually material things of natural beauty.

While in Australia 22 years ago we rented a caravan (motor home) and traveled from Brisbane
to Kangaroo Island. Coming back to Melbourne we took a non-city route in the outback. Hardly saw another vehicle. We spent one night along the side of the road. I went outside to walk a bit while my sons’ wives did dishes and got all beds ready. When I looked up I could not believe my eyes. The Milky Way was so close it looked like I could reach up and touch it. Beautiful beyond words. In that way, I know how you felt seeing all this with no city lights or haze.

  8. This is a liberating place for my mind to be as I am feeling more limited in my mid 80’s. Not only does Love fill all space, but so does divine Principle, Truth, Life, Mind, Spirit, Soul. Looking up into these trillions of stars as captured by these great photos does help one get beyond limited mortal sense. Mrs. Eddy says “Man…does not cross the barriers of time into the vast forever of Life, but he coexists with God and the universe.” S & H p.266.

  9. Thank you Evan, for that gorgeous video of the milky way and your helpful, healing and freeing Lesson about the infinity of God`s universe, in which we have the previlege to live endlessly through God`s loving grace.

I never saw the milky way in such different and varying forms and colours except in a planetarium, but not so varying – love that – thank you Evan and Kathy 🙂
