Morality prospers you

“Moral conditions will be found always harmonious and health-giving.”

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. 125.

Good morals support good health and cause events to run smoother in our lives.

Honesty, integrity, gratitude, taking responsibility for one’s thoughts and actions, being credible, sincere, trustworthy, are all healthy lifestyles and attitudes to practice. They signify closeness to God. They allow the hand of God to work through us and cause activities to work together for good.

Morality is good to possess and cannot be overestimated in its contribution to supporting health and happiness. It’s the doorway to spirituality, the ultimate place of peace and harmony with God.

Value morality. It will bode you well.

  1. It sure does! I absolutely love the sentence, “It’s the doorway to spirituality, the ultimate place of peace and harmony with God.” There is nothing more prosperous than being at the ultimate place of peace and harmony with God. What an honorable and completely satisfying place to be. Even when it’s challenging to express moral qualities, thinking of that makes it more than worth it no matter how challenging it may feel to express these qualities of morality. Often when I face a difficulty, I say: ” I want to STAY with you God!”

  2. Oh, yes, Evan, meanwhile and with more experience I cherish and value morality very much!
Only with true morality you can express Church aright.

Thank you so very much for this wonderful SpiritView; I do love and value every single word of it immensely!

That lovely foto says everything needed for morality: purity, childlike fun and joy and Love. You can see God`s very loved child in that sweet girl!

And Trista thank you for your inspired comment.

  3. I love this… morality leading to spirituality! How good to be certain that the moral qualities we express will utlimately result in spiritual progress. Thank you, Evan, for pointing this out.

    1. Hi Shirley,
what do you mean with your comment?
Does it relate to today’s SpiritView?

We are all so blessed by Evan’s blog!

      1. Hi Uta,
Shirley’s comment is very relevant to this SV. The 10 Commandments are the higher law as man’s law is often not as just. She is jokingly yet seriously saying they are commandments and not suggestions on how to live. And, living in accord with them brings peace and joy.

        1. oh, Hi Kirsten

through your wonderful clear explanation I now do understand Shirley’s comment.

So good – thank you a lot Kirsten and Shirley!
