Trust God more

With all your heart,

you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment.

Always let him lead you,

and he will clear the road for you to follow.

  1. I always pray with PROV: 3 verses 5&6 “Trust in The Lord with all thy heart and he shall direct your paths.” Praying in this way insures good footing when making decisions weather small or big with accurate success.

  2. MORE! “Trust God more”, “love God more”, “deeper trust”, or “trust God most”. This is a recurring theme for this blog. I always thought of love and trust as a quality and not as a quantity. Then I wondered if it was an intensity of how much do I love and trust God. Do I really, really, love and trust God? But then I realized that Science & Health was referring to “more than”; meaning, more than matter and more than material sense.

As a demonstration or badge of honor we love and trust God “more” when we rely on spirit alone and not our judgment in matter. And with sickness, our need for “more trust and love” is put to the test. This is our opportunity to prove that we really do love and trust God “more” and do not trust out mortal judgment in matter as having any benefit or value.

And if we don’t grow well immediately, then the call is again for generating more trust and love in God with affirming the truth and denying the unreal. I can understand why having more love and more trust is of great importance. But I do continue to wonder, if there is more to the equation than affirming God’s Allness and denying that matter has any role in growing well physically.

  3. To above,

Oh yes, there is more to demonstration than growing trust. The goal is understanding. But it takes trust and faith to get thought headed in the right direction to pursue and find the understanding that clinches the healing.
