Be a receiver

“It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

~ Jesus Christ, Luke 12:32

The “kingdom” is all of God’s goodness. It includes abundance, love, health, harmony, peace, contentment, meaning, purpose, and life. It’s everything good and worthy that makes life a joy to live.

It’s God’s good pleasure to give you all these things!

Are you receiving them? Is your mind open to letting them roll through your experience and bless you beyond anything the human mind could ever imagine?

Ingratitude, selfishness, pride, woe-me commiserating, anger, resentment and complaining attitudes are lacking states of mortal mind that don’t see God’s goodness. They would deny its presence and even argue that it doesn’t exist. They are not friends, but enemies! Offer them no occupancy in your thought.

Open to God’s goodness. Welcome it into your life. Deny evil any power or presence. Acknowledge the omnipresence and omnipotence of God and let it bless you.

Be a receiver of what has already been divinely designated as yours to receive. You don’t have to fight for them. They come freely from God.

  1. Thank you for greeting us this morning once more with elevating and encouraging truth.
    Pleasant surprises for everyone today while we recognize error and cast it away in the wake of the abundance of good things God has for us.

  2. Thank you once again, Evan for your wonderful words of wisdom. Today these remind me of hymn 224: O Lord, I would delight in Thee, especially the 2nd and 3rd verses:

    “All good, where’er it may be found,
    Its source doth find in Thee;
    I must have all things and abound,
    While God is God to me.
    O that I had a stronger faith,
    To look within the veil,
    To credit what my Saviour saith,
    Whose word can never fail.

    He that has made my heaven secure,
    Will here all good provide;
    While Christ is rich, can I be poor?
    What can I want beside?
    O God, I cast my care on Thee;
    I triumph and adore;
    Henceforth my great concern shall be
    To love and praise Thee more.”

    1. Thank you, Evan, for this wonderful message. It has been so helpful this morning. David, The words in Hymn 224 have brought a new meaning to my prayers this morning as I have been praying about a suitcase that is seemingly “missing” during a recent flight home. We are all embraced and blessed in the Kingdom of Love, where nothing goes missing, where GOOD and only all GOOD abounds because only the power and presence of GOOD -GOD governs all of us! Thank you for sharing. Blessings to all as we see that we are all already fully satisfied in the Kingdom!

  3. Love the thought that everything comes freely from God. No difficulties, no obstacles. All the good we need! Thank you Evan and thanks DavidM for reminding us of hymn 224. Blessings everyone ❣️

  4. I feel very blessed each morning as I read these uplifting messages from everyone. I have been a long time reader of Spiritview , but never expressed how much I appreciate it and the loving comments which help start my day. Thank you to all. Nancy P, Raleigh, NC, USA

  5. The kingdoms really is within us – within consciousness. Thanks slo much everyone for all your thoughts. Also appreciate the hymn.

  6. The ultimate gift for us to accept is stated by Mary Baker Eddy on P.227_24-26 of Science & Health. and it corresponds with Evan’s citation from Luke at the beginning of this blog.

    “Citizens of the world, accept the “glorious liberty of the children of God,” and be free! This is your divine right.”

    All things that we think we are lacking are already given to us by our Father, and all we need to do is to lift up our thoughts to Him, recognise Him as the only God who gives us all things to enjoy, and accept all the good things He is giving each one of us. There is nothing for us to complain about. There is no material power that can hide these precious gifts from us, and make us sad or feel deprived in any way. No suggestions of lack or discord have any power at all, since all power belongs to God, good. We can turn away from the material suggestions to the spiritual reality and recognise and accept God’s wonderful gifts of perpetual goodness.and blessings into our consciousness and into our lives. And give thanks.

  7. Hi Evan and all Spirit View friends.
    Today’s post was just what was needed, I messages were loud and clear as to what I need to handle. I love that thought, ” Open
    to God’s goodness. Welcome it into your life. Deny evil any power
    or presence. Acknowledge the omnipresence and omnipotence
    of God and let it bless you. Be a receiver of what has already been
    divinely designated as yours to receive. You don’t have to fight for them. They come freely from God.”
    And in this weeks lesson II Cor. 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
    Love and hugs to all

  8. Interestingly, I had an incident of resentment shortly before dinner last night. Shortly after dinner, I felt a headache coming on and an upset stomach. I went to bed early with the thought that I should be expressing love, not resentment. And here I am this morning perfectly well and grateful for your message about God’s kingdom.

  9. I love the way you use the active phrases , such as letting Gods attributes roll through you experience! Evan , this is so inviting and engaging! Let Gods goodness, mercy, intelligence, wisdom be expressed – not just a little(!) but let it ROLL- it’s a celebration of Life.
    That kind of enthusiasm is irresistible!! Thank you for your constant joyful ness!

  10. Thank you Evan for just the inspiration I needed this morning. Thanks David M for reminding us of Hymn 224. It is one that I sing daily more than once. It’s my hymn of gratitude.

  11. Oh thank you very .uch dear Evan for this uplifting and comforting SpiritView!
    And thank you all dear commenters for your inspired and inspiring ideas here. Today, on Sunday 13th June I am reading and ponder ing Evan’s very helpful and healing spiritual views of God’s absolute goodness and abundance. These truth thoughts are so needed and I am very grateful for them.

    Yes, let’s open us to God’s goodness, let’s wellcome it into our Life. Let’s deny evil any power or presence. Let’s acknowledge the omnipresence and the omnipotence of God, and let it bless us!”
    Thanks Evan, that is a wonderful advice because we can’t do else but this, as God is the ALLNESS. Actually there cannot be anything else but our good God!!!♡
