Expect spontaneous blessing

Do you expect spontaneous blessing to appear in your life? I hope so.

With God, bounty and blessing can appear at any moment, often when you least expect it.

It could happen at the office when a key manager decides to support a project you’ve been working on. It might happen at home when a family member surprises you with an act of kindness. It might happen financially when unexpected income comes your way. You rarely know ahead of time how the next blessing is going to occur, but if you stay spiritually alert and aware of God’s infinite love and care for you at all times, they will come, and in just the right way for the moment you are in.

God plans ahead, and part of the divine planning is to ensure that you have everything you need to prosper in the work God has assigned you to do.

Like the parable of the ten bridesmaids in the Bible (Matthew 25), five of the bridesmaids came to the feast prepared with sufficient oil in their lamps and stood ready to move on a moment’s notice when word came that the feast was ready to begin. They were ready for spontaneous blessing and they received it! However, the five bridesmaids that didn’t show much care, came unprepared, and were left out.

Don’t be left out! Be ready for spontaneous blessing.

Keep your thought filled with gratitude and expectancy of good. Know God’s omnipresent good at work on your behalf, and never doubt it. Blessings will appear, and often in the most unexpected ways.

With God, spontaneous blessing can be a common occurrence.

  1. ‘Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set ye free’ An abiding thought to open up all expected and unexpected good into your experience. Thank you Evan for constant reminders that open up our expectation of good every day.❣️

  2. This brings to mind one of my favorite Bible verses Malachi 3:10
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” And from Science and Health in the Chapter on Prayer! “…God pours the riches of His love into the understanding and
affections, giving us strength according to our day.” I read somewhere (I think it was Joel Olsteen – I’m paraphrasing) do we come with a thimble or a bucket to receive God’s blessings?! I love your message today Even – expect blessings/be prepared to receive!!! Thank you, thank you.

  3. “Are we really grateful for the good already received? Then we shall avail ourselves of the blessings we have, and thus be fitted to receive more.”
    Pg. 3:22-24

  4. Evan,, yes and I think of God as a God of Surprise, fot it comes from, the great Giver of all things. Thank you so much. Nan.

  5. Thank you Evan!! This encouragement is exactly what I need today and I’m going to expect evidence of God’s goodness around every corner. Thank you all.

  6. This reminds me of the address by Dorothy Rieke “ Wonderful Things Are Happening” where she states that we should rejoice always that wonderful things are taking place because God is all and He ever pouring out infinite blessings and the results have to be wonderful. She states that right now God is at work to bless you so you don’t have to concern yourself about anything that comes up in your body or life, but rather rejoice that God is all there is and the nothing can interfere with His plan one iota. I love this way of praying.

  7. Evan thank you very much for your loved and blessing SpiritView xo.
Indeed God is planning ahead for us good things. Shortly I got a call from my eldest nephew whether he may visit me the same day with his wife and two children, also bringing cake with them. They live farther away from me, abt. 1 1/2 hour driving. It was absolute unexpected and a great surprise. He said they decided spontaniously to visit me. We had a lovely afternoon. Am very grateful for God’s blessings!

  8. Thanks for today’s enlightening, Always expecting good, mostly waiting for it, but am grateful for the good already received. Spontaneous revelations are in thought. Externalized objects coming into view.
“Trust on and wait the day star yet shall gleam”. Hymn 359.
Looking for the right idea to lead to the right source of supply. Good to be happy and well. without fear. Knowing God supplies all good things, even before we ask Him.
    Thanks to all for sharing.

  9. Each morning when I wake up I try to make my first thought be ” What wonderful things has God planned for me today ? ” There is always something .

Brian. If he reads this he’ll fix it! I’ll just keep checking back. Chances are someone will come to our
aid and will fix it. So don’t give up!

    1. Yay! Brian!
Thank you, a lovely blessing at the end of reading all the beautiful comments, also a day later.

      1. Yes, Thank you, Brian… had a feeling you would come through. : ) Am wondering how you do that, if you don’t mind sharing the secret.

        1. Hi Carol, You put this in your comment: heavenletters.org/node/2906 All I did was put that same text on a separate line and put :”http://” in front of it to get the link shown above. The “http://” is definitely needed for the blog to treat it as a link. And maybe being on a separate line is needed also, but I’m not sure about that.

      1. Thank you very much dear Brian! I hoped very much that you read our request for the link to Mrs Riekes article. Wow is that extensive. Will print it out and looking forward reading it in a quiet moment. 🙂

  12. I found Mrs Riecker article on the Christian Science YouTube channel when I was looking up lectures. It is audio.
