  1. Thank you for sharing this quote. It reminded me not to look outside to the material world to find justification for myself and what I am called to do. It is not about receiving external ques as to what is right and good. This quote reminded me that it is not about a search for things to change or improve but a joyful striving to recognize and acknowledge all that God has gifted to each of us in our perfectly crafted individuality.

  2. Thanks Evan. A good reminder to lead a good spiritual life.
Our spiritual self, which is our true self, always needs to be safeguarded. It should never come in the snare of mortal mind suggestions. Its very easy to fall prey to mortal mind suggestions which take us away from our true spiritual identity, created in the likeness of God, our maker.
We need to pray, watch and work to keep our consciousness pure, and on a spiritual level. The way that leads to God is not easy. It is straight and narrow..It requires of us to be vigilant, firm, righteous and good all the way. No compromise, no concessions allowed.
We should never bend to the human will and weakness which suggests we are unwell, or its okay to be revengeful at times, or gossip, or break a moral law. Being watchful and prayerful is very essential to keep on the right track. Moreover, we gain all of Gods support, goodness and bountiful blessings if we are spiritually attuned. “If living in disobedience to Him, we aught to feel no security although God is good.” Mary Baker Eddy in her text book, Science and Health.

  3. Thanks, Evan, Raymond Hull, Elizabeth, and Nergish! I love your line, Elizabeth….”recognize and acknowledge all that God has gifted to each of us in our perfectly crafted individuality.” Perfectly crafted individuality. Sounds like a perfect title for an article for the periodicals!

  4. I already am
    what I am,
    while thinking
    I don’t know
    what that is.

    As God reveals
    what that is,
    I know what I am,
    ‘Peace’ walking
    thru a world
    that does not
    know what it is

  5. Thanks, Evan and all. A wonderful way to start the day! We need to forge ahead under God’s direction and let the naysayers fall to the wayside. Loved the quote!
