Happily, so far, people to whom I extend my hand for a handshake, still respond. It is a lovely sign of caring, welcome, appreciation and love.

True – but increasingly I’m being greeted cordially with “fist bumps” – whatever indicates love, respect, etc. is fine with me!

oops! the lecture was on Sunday. You’re pretty special, but lecturing ing in Denver and Indy on the same day is probably not such a good idea.
