It’s a favorite dictum of mine: a consciousness of God heals suffering. When we are aware of God’s infinite Love, we lose sensation of pain and suffering. A consciousness of heavenly harmony and spiritual peace brings healing to mind and body.
I tell you how to have this consciousness in this vlog that was filmed on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, in Arizona, when my wife and I visited the area in September 2024.
Thank you so much, Evan. May I add this 6-minute podcast from the CS Sentinel “News of Healing” to further illustrate today’s SpiritView message.

Thank you Evan for an insightful vlog. And thank you Cheryl for the perfect complementary podcast.
perfect
Thank you both.
I love your blogs but am disappointed I can’t see the video – it says I have to log in, but I don’t have a log in. 🙁
I had the same message, but went to the Spiritview website and was able to view the vlog there.
There is no need to log in. You could try going directly to http://www.spiritview.net, and clicking on the YouTube video there.
Thank you for the beautiful reminder.
Thank you, dear Evan for the wonderful clear Vlog about “A consciousness of God heals suffering”. Just what I need a lot, and I ponder the Truth you bless us with! ❤️
Thank you very much, dear Cheryl for that very helpful testimony; it matches completely with Evan’s great Vlog! That’s all food for today. And at 2 pm Boston time we can listen to the online Testimony meeting of The Motherchurch, for which I’m looking forward! ❤️
Oh, I imagin sitting on that bench and looking at the inspiring view of the Grand Canyons. Wonderful!! Thank you Evan!♡
I totally agree with you Uta; however I will first attend the Testimony-Meeting of the local Branch-Church

by Cheryl, the imagination shared by Uta, sitting on that bench, taking in all of
the wonderful feelings shared here this morning. Thank you All !! Love it …
Thank you for this vlog today, Evan … it reminded me of just one many of my favorite passages in Retrospection and Introspection by Mary Baker Eddy – in a section entitled “The Great Revelation.”
“Christian Science declares that sickness is a belief, a latent fear, made manifest on the body in different forms of fear or disease. This fear is formed unconsciously in the silent thought, as when you awaken from sleep and feel ill, experiencing the effect of a fear whose existence you do not realize; but if you fall asleep, actually conscious of the truth of Christian Science, — namely, that man’s harmony is no more to be invaded than the rhythm of the universe, — you cannot awake in fear or suffering of any sort.
Science saith to fear, “You are the cause of all sickness; but you are a self-constituted falsity, — you are darkness, nothingness. You are without ‘hope, and without God in the world.’ You do not exist, and have no right to exist, for ‘perfect Love casteth out fear.’” …” (Retrospection and Introspection, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 61:3–17).
I needed this reminding today! Thanks and love to everyone!
Thank you Liz for including quotes from Retrospection and introspection. “…that man’s harmony is no more to be invaded than the rhythm of the universe” brought to thought this article:
“The rhythm of the universe” by Ruth Elizabeth Stackhouse, from the June 25, 1955 issue of The Christian Science Sentinel:

Thanks to everyone for their prayers in support of those in the fires in Los Angeles area in humility we climb the heights of holiness. Every good thought and deed is effective. A cup of cold water always reaches those in need. Love is more powerful than any appearance of wind and destruction.

Thank you Evan! You helped me make a decision this morning. My feet have been quite sore the last few days, Some people would say that it was from walking/playing 18 holes of golf on Friday & Monday. I knew that come January 3rd I wanted to go back to walking the course instead of riding in a cart. For the last three months I have been walking the course 3 days a week before the the 1st T time and on many days I started out in the dark. Keeping in mind that I was only walking I felt pretty good at the end of 3 months of walking and there was no problem. I felt good & strong. A side note here is that during all this walking I was more conscious of God. It was maybe 3 months ago that I heard or read “What do you think about most?” Also “Then that is your god,” I thought about it and I came up with golf. Now I thought about my answer. I did think about God when I was playing and made a point to thank God many times believing that I was not capable of some of the shots I made. I decided though that I needed to take more time for God and Christian Science. I have spent more time with another read through of S&H and reading in the Bible. In no way is golf going to be a god! Back to the foot problem. I realize with some of my errant shots I am doing more walking when I am playing golf. Also it could be the shoes I am wearing. But then I think about Jesus and He did a lot of walking and I am sure that He never complained about his feet or wished He had better footwear. The solution then is I need to be more like Jesus and be in the consciousness of God. I will walk the course today. My feet feel so much better now. Thank you God. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Mrs. Eddy. Thank you Evan.
Thank you Evan for your inspired inspiration!
Thank you all for your prayers regarding the fires in Los Angeles. Great article I came across.

Thank you so much for this link, Syl.
I am praying …
Beautiful! Thank you so much for this inspiration!
Evan: Thank you for this. It’s just what I need to hear in the midst of the fires makeing their way into my home town of Pasadena, CA.
God’s consciousness is manifesting itself even if not yet seen. His is the only power and presence. His angels guard and guide.

Thank you Evan!! Keeping that consciousness of God with me as I pray amidst the fires in the LA area. Blessings to all of you.
<3
Thanks Evan and Cheryl – just what I need as suffering from horrible idea of flu like bug – or idea of horrible.,! Not forgetting the suffering of LA.
Thank you for sharing with us such a wonderful message and view, Evan and Kathy.
As I was absorbing the thoughts and awesome scenery, the contrast of the sunlit areas
and the shadows seemed to stand out to me. Especially with the devastation of the
wildfires and all of that impact on lives – the shadows, if you will, of mortal mind’s
seemingly going through a time that seems so horrible. The shadows of thought can
sometimes really intimidate us into believing that there are forces beyond our control
and our little prayers seem inconsequential in making a difference. My Mom used to have
a magnet that humorously goes, “A woman’s work is never done, so why bother”. : )
We may be tempted to feel this way also, in a world that seems so out of control, but
our thoughts Are important in helping to heal with the consciousness of Spirit and Love.
Evan, your spiritual guidance and the helpful links and thoughts shared here, Are making a
difference and collectively, right thinking shines a light on shadowy thoughts.
