  1. In my ten seconds, I thought of my parents, my husband and my children who have been here for me, allowing me to be my best. But I have to give Christ Jesus the biggest accolades–his words and works have guided me in the right path and to Mary Baker Eddy for opening up the spiritual universe and man to my understanding, I give a big thank you. I loved Mr. Rogers, his kindness and love came right through the TV screen to bless my family.

  2. We, outside the US, do not know who this is. Please could you just give a little indication what he is famous for.

  3. To the international reader above,

Oh, sorry about that. Yes, Fred Rogers hosted a children’s program for many many years that was very popular in the United States. His gentleness, kindness, compassion and constant expectation of good endured millions to him.

  4. Mr. Roger’s was a God-send in our family. His program was the only thing that kept my young son calm for 30 minutes every day.

I wrote Mr. Rogers and told him this when my son grew up and was able to sit still for more than half an hour without watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

His speech goes right to the heart, where all those that have helped us on our way, remain.
