“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

~ Eleanor Roosevelt

We are all equal in God’s eyes! Equally worthy, equally loved, equally valued.

  1. Thank you Evan! Just what I need to work on. Your posts are always do helpful to
guide us on our journey spirit-ward!

  2. Thank you for this quote. Eleanor Roosevelt has long been my “shero,” a wise and thoughtful and very Christian woman. I am currently reading a collection of her published columns in a book titled IF YOU ASK ME, compiled by Mary Jo Binker.

  3. Thank you very much für this needed and helpful Truth!
When I think back to former times I can now correct false thoughts in this direction. And also in today´s times it is very helpful, and we can pray with this Truth for us and our friends who need it!

God loves us all equally and leads us to understanding Truth better which makes us free – thanks so much dear Evan!

  4. It is sooo true & freeing. When human opinion is unneeded, U are truly free. Again, I’m grateful to
have your wise thoughts, each day, Evan.
Many thanks to fellow bloggers, also.

  5. “Fear thou not not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10) One of the meanings of dismayed is to feel inferior. God is strengthening and upholding each and every one of us equally. None can be inferior nor superior.

  6. Such a great Lesson this week, “Ancient and Modern Necromancy, Alias Mesmerism and Hypnotism, Denounced.” (Mrs. Eddy sure nailed it with this specificidentification of error, evil, and how to denounce it as completely unreal, false, NOT a power.)

A while back I was rather caught up in the belief that “they” (anyone not me) could be “malpracticing” me, if they disapproved of me, or were just not nice folks for me to be around, etc. Now, thanks to Christian Science, I am understanding that I only need handle my own thinking and beliefs, not “World Thought!” How confused I had been to believe there are minds apart from the One Mind, Divine Love!

This is a very wonderful Science of Mind-healing, indeed!

    ;<))

  7. Thank you….all…so good.

Not sure if this fits in with today’s blog…but came to my thought when reading this….I read it on a local church sign..and laughed and thought very good…
“Be kind to rude people…they need a good mentor.” 🙂

    Thanks again Evan and all.

  8. Thanks for this daily message of inspiration and the comments!
Love the idea from Kathyw about “a good mentor”. Reminds me of the Golden Rule to treat others as we want to be treated. Christ Jesus was a wonderful example of course as many others including Mary Baker Eddy have been. It is so helpful to be a good example to others, friends, family, & people we meet through out the day. This is especially good in school situations where sometimes it takes a bit more courage to stand up for what is right when there is peer pressure lurking but so needed in both teachers and students. As a school teacher and now as grand parent this is so important to be good example! Knowing our true identity & worth as God’s beloved & innocent child and seeing others as the same, gives us strength, love and conviction to be a good mentor!
