And what do we “really need?” There is nothing better, more complete and more satisfying than God and His infinite Love.
When you know you have God’s love and care, you know you have everything. And there is no feeling of lack anywhere to be felt or seen.
And so there is really never a need. I love that thought.
So interesting to read your post today. I’m home from out of town visiting my parents and my mom and I have been talking and joking about the difference between want and need. We also just got back from a tour my grandmother gave us of her beautiful yard and garden, where she spends hours working on it every day. So the photo on your post also feels quite relevant!
I think even if we feel a want, sometimes fulfilling it makes us realize the desire is still not satisfied. Better to focus on what we need and what really matters, and know that God provides for those things always!
