No mountain too big

It’s not the mountain we conquer,

but ourselves.

~Edmund Hillary (First to climb Mt. Everest)
Are there any mountain-sized problems in your life? Fear not. They are not bigger than God. They are not bigger than the solutions that solve them.
Fear, doubt, limited material views, ignorance, and lack of confidence work to defeat success. They are the product of the little ego, the mortal-self that believes in a power, or god, separate from God. But with God, the infinite divine Mind that always has an answer, all things are possible.
Get the little ego out of the way and let the Big Ego take over! Healing perspective will surface and lead the way. You’ll make it to the top of that mountain and plant a flag of victory on its summit.

  1. Love the idea of getting the “little ego out of the way and let the Big Ego” take over! Isn’t the “little ego” what trips us up every time? ~ Robyn

  2. Yes, yes, yes…it’s not the mountain, or the problem, or the obstacle, but only our thought about it, that we conquer–overcome with spiritual truth. Thank you for the reminder.

  3. Ah! Again, Evan’s blog hits the mark. Beaurocracy! That’s become my mountain lately. Instead of getting all rattled over it, I try to make light over it. But seriously, it’s not funny any more. With all the prayers being done to lick it, it seems to get worse. But really ,prayer does work. Case in point; Last Thursday I had an appointment for an in-patient hospital visit. I was informed that the Ambulete could not get gas because of Hurricane Sandy, so my Nurse Aide called 911. They took me to the Emergency room and left me there. The clinic was only a few feet away, but because of a rule they were under, 911 was only allowed to take me to Emergency. If I was taken to the clinic, I would be out in 5 minutes not the 8 hours that it took before I could go home. Thank God for the Nurse Aide for getting me there for the Doctor was going on vacation the next day. Now it’s the following Tuesday and guess what? The Ambulete came to pick me up for the clinic appointment for last Thursday. Thank God for C/S prayer.
