No partial success

How successful are you in reflecting God’s presence? The only answer you could ever reply with in Science is, “One hundred percent.”

You are a 100% successful reflection of God because that’s the only kind of reflection God has.

God doesn’t have a partial reflection. God’s man is not partly okay and partly not okay. God’s creation is not 60% good and 40% bad. God’s child is not mostly healthy, but not quite.

God’s reflection is 100% perfect, healthy, whole and complete always.

You are not a partial reflection of God. You are not partially healthy and partially not healthy. You are not happy some of the times, and unhappy at other times. You are not a mortal struggling to be a better immortal.

As God’s creation, you are at 100% this moment. You are 100% healthy, 100% supplied, 100% loved, 100% provided for. You are everything God designed you to be. You’ve never slipped or fallen, been hurt or harmed. You’ve always been safe in and secure in Spirit where mortality has no reality.

Mary Baker Eddy wrote, “Man is God’s reflection, needing no cultivation, but ever beautiful and complete”
Science and Health, p. 527.
You are a 100% immortal spiritual being, whole and complete! As God’s loved one, you are a complete success now. Accept it!

  1. The 100% symbol in today’s post is so reassuring. It feels so very comforting to realize that we are 100% healthy, 100% supplied, 100% provided for. As God’s loved ones, we are complete NOW. We do not need to wait to see that perfection.
Yes of course we can confidently declare as Evan does, that we are 100% successful reflection of God because that’s the only kind of reflection God has. If we know this Truth we can be free from any error that is bothering us. “Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free”.
Thanks Evan. We are daily climbing upward, God ward and rising higher and higher in our understanding of Divine Science. Its a spiritual feast and brings so much peace and satisfaction.

  2. Oh! Thank you for these encouraging thoughts. Yesterday something happened that looked and felt very much like I had failed. Healing tears came when I read today’s entry and Nergishs’ response-I “fell” for mortal minds cruel and untrue accusations. I remembered these accusation are really an attack on God’s Beloved, God’s perfect adored Child therefore an attack on Him. I don’t have to believe them. With a heart filled with gratitude for all who work to remind us of the perfect, magnificent, LOVED children we are 100% of the time. We have not failed, indeed cannot fail. Much Love to all.

  3. Thanks for this. Too often I feel like I’m working towards healing and harmony. This is not true; I’m already there, so I can press on through the false picture.

  4. You’ve always been safe in and secure in Spirit where mortality has no reality.

Perfect as I pray about the fires in the West and the floods in the south. Thanks, Evan. Blessings all…

  5. Such reassuring Truth, Evan, Thank you! It Is like with mathematical principles. 2 + 2 = 4 All of the time, not just some of the time. The same principle applies to us with our perfection and protection from God, no matter what comes our way. We can turn to this Principle and Know that we Are 100%.

  6. Thank you!! Thank you for your post this morning! This is exactly what I needed today! I have been feeling fearful of an appointment I have later today for blood work at the hospital (I’m pregnant). I’ve been working with my teacher. Your post made me smile, and filled me with courage and gratitude. Thank you again!!

  7. Thank you Evan. This blog posting reminded me of a Journal article I read once entitled All the Way, by Milton Simon. This article can be accessed using the link below.

The questions about “What is real” from a few days ago made me think of the following citation from Science and Health, pg 466:

Moreover, Truth is real, and error is unreal. This last statement contains the point you will most reluctantly admit, although first and last it is the most important to understand.

The word “error” could be considered as anything less than 100% of God and His idea and the reflection thereof. It’s also interesting to me that Mrs. Eddy wrote “you will most reluctantly admit”. The Websters 1828 dictionary defines reluctantly as:

    With opposition of heart; unwillingly.

Don’t we find that we sometimes are unwilling to accept Truth? I’ve realized that in my own thinking at times and am now trying to guard against it. It’s so often tempting to “go along with the crowd’s thinking” and we sometimes could feel isolated when we oppose popular thought. But the end result is that admitting that Truth IS real makes us realize all of the attributes of God (health, safety, peace, etc.) are ours right now and that’s so wonderful. I’ve experienced 100% thinking at times and it’s awesome!

Thanks again Evan for this blog and thank you to everyone for your comments…I get so much from the comments!

    1. Brian, If we are following today’s thought then we have never been unwilling to accept Truth. 100% is flawless, 100% God expressing then there is no place for “sometimes we are unwilling to accept Truth” it’s a trick of mortal mind to keep us on its side. It’s pretty tricky in trying to buy more time. I’m practicing catching every thought today that would tempt me to believe I was ever less than 100% God’s expression. You are the lucky recipient of that. In all seriousness, Much Love to you.

  8. Thank you Evan and Brian for your post and article link. Great thought. Although there can be many expressions of God, Spirit, there can be no half God.

  9. Thanks, Evan, for this powerful reminder that we are always 100% perfect in every way because we reflect our 100% perfect Maker!

  10. Many thanks, Brian, for the link to the article “ALL THE WAY” by Milton Simon. It is outstanding and I highly recommend it. I have printed it out to have for further study.

  11. Dear Evan, this treatment you have given today is great corroboration of the truth that I have expressed lately to loved ones. Thank you so very much! I shall share this message with each of them who are always ready to accept the confirming truth. Yes, 2 + 2 is always known to = 4, eternally.

  12. 100% love this blog-thank you Evan for daily creative, healing, inspiration. Also a BIG thank you Brian, I just finished reading the article link you shared-so wonderful and just what I needed today !

  13. It is sometimes easy to be lead to think that there is less than completeness (100%) in our relation to God. How can it be otherwise. In Mind we are always complete and perfect, this how God created all his ideas, perfect, eternal, with no beginning and no end.

Thanks for reminding me, I sometimes let animal magnetism suggest otherwise, and don’t aggressively refute the lie.
