Thank you, Evan, and with this reminder you give us today “never, never to give up” makes me think of our very dear leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who really never gave up, and she took the Support of God and did succed for a l l of us – thank you God and thank you MBE!!!

We are able to continue our prayers for healing and it is always rewarding when they are answered.
Some of the greatest healings and answers to prayer have come to pass because of patience and persistence.
At the heart of selfless love

sunshine ‘give up?’)
I just found Dorothy Rieke’s article deep in my computer files:
“Wonderful Things Are Happening,” (1969 Christian Science Journal; or it may be Sentinel). Wow…What a reminder that fits well with today’s SpiritView! It is long, but so worth reading, again, and again. And she reminds us, too, that we must be scientific…Acknowledge JOY…..then one can feel it! (Amazing how that works. And how grumbling closes us off to it.)

Thank you, Evan! Thank you Spiritview Fan! I have the 10 or 12 page “Talk” by Mrs. Rieke, C.S. and I think she gave it as a Lecture, so that’s why it wouldn’t be in JSH-online…..??? Anyway, it IS very Good and so reinforcing of staying persistantly with the Positive and the Good! Patience and Persistance do bring Spiritual Progress and Spiritual Healing!

Thanks so much Evan. This inspiration is so helpful and timely. Surely as you say, nothing is impossible, if we persevere, be patient n persist in the understanding that God never let’s us down. At times we are tried and then purified, but God is working out His good purpose for us all the time. “GOD Is LOVE. More then this we can not ask, higher we can not look and further we can not go.”
Mrs. Rieke’s “article” is actually an association address that has been widely circulated.
Thanks Evan. We very much needed the reminder of being Patient, Persistent and Persevering. And if we do not give up, God surely supports us and leads us to a victory.

My goodness, this lecture “Wonderful things are happening” by Dorothy in the year 1969 is so awesome. Have never read such an uplifting, wonderful, convincing and beautiful article. What a perfect understanding of God and His perfect love for His perfect expressions. This lecture is so inspiring that it instils confidence that we are going to be happy, no matter what, because our happiness is permanent, it comes from God and nothing can take it away cause God is constantly with us, 24/7. This lecture needs to be read by everyone and shared with all cause its the greatest spiritual gift.
Dorothy must be truly are so loving, kind, noble and good. Its so evident that she has taken great pains to make this lecture so interesting, so convincing, so demonstrable, so good. I would never be able to express in words my gratitude to you Dorothy, in case you are reading this comment, and to God for inspiring you to prepare such an awesome lecture.
Deeply and sincerely my heart goes out to you for INSPIRING SUCH CONFIDENCE IN THE GRACE, THE ALLNESS, THE GOODNESS AND THE ONLYNESS OF GOD, which leave us with nothing but tremendous happiness even amidst worst challenges. GOD BLESS YOU and yours Dorothy, ABUNDANTLY, ALWAYS. AMIN.
