I like the below quote. I can think back over the decades to teachers, speakers, and lecturers that made substantial impressions on me. I can’t often remember specifically what they said, but I remember how they made me feel.
People will forget what you said,

You framed the quote in the positive. It took me awhile to test that out for myself. I can now visualize those who made me feel good. The reason it took me awhile is that the first thing that popped into my head was the way I have made too many people feel bad. That was discouraging and something I will continue to work on.
