Big lecture event in South Lake Tahoe

June 10, 2015 | 8 comments

For those of you who live in California or neighboring Nevada, did you know about the big lecture event coming up in South Lake Tahoe? Its four speakers, one afternoon, at one venue, all focused on the topic of “Healing Solutions to Life’s Challenges.” Speakers will share their inspirations and ideas from a Christian Science perspective.

I’m one of the speakers, and will be talking on the subject of “Readiness for Healing.” It’s a new lecture I wrote especially for this event.

You can learn all about the event at the below website. You need to register if you’d like to attend, to guarantee a seat.

  1. Hello Evan,
This sounds like a wonderful event. Will these lectures be recorded and perhaps shared on YouTube? It will be great to see them, if they will be. Thank you for all that you do in sharing

  2. Looking forward to seeing you there, Evan! And it’s my understanding that these lectures are being taped for future viewing. What an inspiring and healing afternoon it will be! And how wonderful that we’ll be able to continue to share it with others!

  3. And we are looking forward to Evan, Leide Lessa, Julie Ward and Nate Frederick too!

Yes Carol, the event is being video-recorded for later distribution via our website and, hopefully, through TMC’s website. Leide has offered to pre-record her talk in Spanish as well. And Jorge Perez will be providing real-time Spanish translations.

And Jan, we look forward to you being there with us along with several of your members.

There’s plenty of room . . . reservations are to assure enough refreshments and for the parking attendants.

  4. Glad to hear this will be available for future viewing. I have tried on iMac, iPad and PC but the live stream will not play.

  5. I tried to watch these lectures today (Sat), but was unable to get them. I was sorry. Hopefully they will be presented for viewing on YouTube or somewhere.

    1. They had tech problems handling the huge audience that logged on, but there should be replays in a couple of weeks on the same site. Sorry about that.
