  1. What a lovely inspiration to never be discouraged of failures, when God’s hand is there in our life to support us, strengthen us, help us and give us success in all our endeavours.
Just as a small child never fears when he knows his dad is around and places all confidence in him, we too need not fear of failure when we know that our heavenly father will support us, help us and give us the victory.
Always united with our divine source, God, what foe can frighten us?? So lets cheer up and move on in life with confidence.

  2. Thank you, Evan for that comforting Truth – and thank you Nergish for your lovely and comforting words! We, at least I do need that every morning new for that day God gives us.

  3. Some of us, order gents, do fall occasionally and find rewards results in
aligning with spiritual thoughts and rewards are answered in getting through the event with little difficulty

  4. Yes!

I want to share, when I first returned to Christian Science, I felt I should stop taking medicine. At the time, I had many prescriptions. I quit a bunch of them quickly, only to find myself much worse off! I didn’t have the spiritual foundation to take that step. I felt like a failure, more separate from God.

I took a step back, but didn’t give up. I knew CS works. I saw that I needed to focus on spiritual growth, rather than looking for material progress. I resumed taking the medicine it seemed I needed, and continued my studies, including taking Class Instruction.

Now, some years later, I have had much wonderful healing progress! I’m so grateful for that! My ever-deepening understanding of the Laws of God, CS, has helped me in many many ways in my life. And, as a result, most of the meds have fallen away naturally. I know the rest will, too.

Don’t give up! If your desires are in line with what God wants, results are guaranteed.

    1. Thank you Ellen. I too take medicine and feel guilty because of it. Lately I have been feeling very depressed for having to rely on material medica. Reading your comment put me back on the right track. So what! God is still my true comforter and not getting discouraged will lead me to the Truth that will destroy my reliance on material medica for it is the Truth that makes one free.

    2. Dear Ellen,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, which is very timely for me. Very much appreciated.

  5. Don’t give up is right Jesus is always with us I had minor surgery but gods healing hand is there whether it’s failures or any situation keep on going

  6. Thanks so much for this, Evan, and All you Beautiful Commenters! Yes, there is a certain Spirituality in Imperfection……in “making mistakes”. Mistakes are just experiments into What Doesn’t Work!! Having been raised in C.S. with the saying: “I am God’s Perfect Child” – it’s taken me years to realize that Human Perfection is an impossibility and that we are here to Learn By Making Mistakes! Whew! What a Relief! Onward and Upward! Keep on Truckin’!

  7. Love it when folks GET REAL!!

Of course, we are all learning what this means, spiritually!

And while we are, God continues to be LOVE!
