You are significant

Do you realize how significant you are to God?

God created you for a reason. You have a purpose. You have a place. You have a unique role to play in the grand scheme of things that is necessary for God’s universe to be complete.

Like every piece in a puzzle has a place to occupy in that puzzle, you have a place to occupy that is unique and fitting for you.

There is no one like you. There is no one that can replace you. You alone can fulfill the divine purpose God had in Mind when you were created.

You are irreplaceable. You are indispensable. You have a vital role to play that requires you to play it.

Without you the universe would lack. With you the universe is whole!

So, rejoice in your significance.

It’s not an ego-trip, bloated pride or self-righteousness that we’re talking about here. It’s love, honor and appreciation for the value and worth you have to offer your family, your community, existence.

Sometimes the selfishness and cruelty of mortal mind would talk us down, belittle us, demean our efforts, or discredit our hard work to help others and be useful. We must alert and not let this affect our self-esteem. It is not acceptable!

God never talks down His beloved. He builds them up. He is ready to help, support, reinforce the good and prosper all right activity, including you.

So, remember your significance. Cherish it, understand it and express it abundantly for the blessing of one and all.

“The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore” Psalms 121:5-8, NRSV.

  1. Thank you Evan.
That is so helpful at a time when I just learned of someone’s passing.
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”

  2. How very special it is to know we are loved and valued and indispensible.
This is so different from my early learning experiences when I often felt
    lonely and unwanted.
But ideas are changing, bringing forth these fresh new concepts in early childhood training these days where the child’s need to feel loved, wanted and valued, is recognized and nurtured.
Thank you Evan for this important message.
    Truth is operating.

“The Christ is here, all dreams of error breaking”!

  3. Great dear Evan – that shows us how much we can love ourselves; and then we can love our neigbors enough as ourselves.

So clear, understandable and inspired – am very grateful for your SpiritView! 🙂

  4. This is a point that every child should be taught. That would put bullying in our society into it proper place – non existent. God loves each of us, we all are a brilliant creation of life, to be loved and valued for that purpose, that wonderful piece of the puzzle that gives the complete view and value of the whole. Thank you Evan for this post. Another addition for my notebook on your post. There are so many valuable ideas.

  5. This very powerful message is exactly what I needed this morning! Thank you, Evan and commenters. It is so comforting to be a part of this wonderful Spiritview family. These wonderful truths can be so very helpful…especially right when we need them the most. I am ever so grateful.

  6. Thank you as always for your inspiration and uplifting message!!!! You shine!

  7. Thanks so much, Evan, for this very timely message which is just what I needed this morning when feeling I was a burden to others, and burdened myself with more than I can handle.

  8. Good morning Sunshine
    You are loved
    let your light shine
    sun, stars above.

    Birds wake up singing
    Frogs sing at night
    we can sing always
    chasing away the blight.

    We are God’s purpose
    we have the power
    to fulfill our purpose
    singing every hour.

  9. Lori, cast your burdens upon Him!
The joy of demonstrating your right place and home is not a burden but “Love’s DIVINE adventure!! You are dearly loved!!

  10. Sunshine was a dear one’s pet name for me. I know there is someone identifying as Sunshine on SV. 🙂
I try to identify myself with our Father / Mother when I wake up night or day. We are all “Sunshine’s” when we let our light shine and sing happily through our day.

  11. Thank you so much, Evan. This is so applicable in every part of our lives—in our home and family, our church, other organizations we may be active in, the world. We can help uplift the world’s thinking by appreciating the good in ourselves and others, and rejecting its opposite. Your words today are especially meaningful to me as I can share them with a dear family member who lives far from us, but is in need of them, to know how significant and valuable he is. Thanks again!
