Are you a dreamer or a doer?

“Some people dream of great accomplishments,

while others stay awake and do them.”

~ Danielle Luedtke

Success requires persistent effort, work, and follow through. Deeds! To glimpse a spiritual truth is a starter step, but to fully understand that truth, live it and be it is what translates an inspiration into a practical outcome that takes one permanently to a better place. No time for idle dreams and fantasizing about how things could be. Be it!

  1. Take the flip side. Dreaming is not such a bad thing. It leads to better things. Take a hardship for instance. Before the cloths washing machine, washing cloths was a dredge for woman. Some one had to “dream” up something better. Most of the inventions of mankind came from dreams. Look at the many things that came up from “Science Fiction,” as another example of dreaming.

  2. being a ‘doer’ sounds like Work! But thinking about it, if we really ‘live’ the spiritual truths we learn, it’s a ‘letting go’ into the knowledge of that truth which brings peace to our existence. so, maybe being a doer is not so hard!

  3. Liked what Tobias said. I’m learning at this point in my life to dream more and do less! I’ve been such a Martha all my life..do, do, do. Dreaming is kind of fun for a change! But I do understand what you are saying here….like to dream of endless possibilities. Am dreaming of playing the piano…not enough..need to get up and practice right now!

  4. I would personally like to experience the “inspirations and revelations” of divine Mind than to think that dreams or imaginations bring about healing, creative and inventive solutions for humanity. I fully trust divine Mind and The Christ/Truth to reveal the ideas I need for living in eternal harmony and knowing this is true for everyone.

  5. Sometimes ones dreams are on hold. Greater love hath no man than to lay down his/her life for his/her friend. Caring for another’s needs can go on for a very long time, until you despair of having a life.
