When it comes to life the critical thing is whether
you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.
~ Gilbert Chesterton
Do you recognize God as the source of all blessings in your life?
When something good comes your way, do you give credit to God?
When an unexpected and pleasant surprise surfaces in your day, do you see God’s hand at work behind the scenes?
Do you spend more time taking from others, or giving gratitude to God and to others for the goodness of God they express?
Gratitude is a power. Gratitude is riches. Gratitude is life-giving. Gratitude keeps us connected to God’s constant flow of blessing. Gratitude gets us out of self and brightens up every space we occupy.
Gratitude enriches and heals. Gratitude is a good thing!
“God loves a cheerful giver.” II Cor 9:7, NKJV
I’m grateful for this today. Thank you for today’s message, and all that you send to uplift and bless.
Doctors, scientists, and medical workers now have conclusive data that gratitude has amazing restorative capabilities for the entire body, from the brain to heartbeats etc. The new operative term for gratitude is “appreciation inventory.” It doesn’t matter what term you use, it has a healing effect.
There isn’t a time when gratitude is not due. It’s the elixir of life itself. It benefits all mankind at all times, especially in hard times. It protected me, my grown family who lives in Long Island, NY, and my friends during Hurricane Sandy and the northeaster right afterwards.
this is the best.Thanks
