It’s Thanksgiving Day. This year has been a wonderful year of discovering the vast use of the C/S Religion through the use of my I-PAD that my son bought me on last Father’s Day. This enabled me not only to read and hear the web sites on C/S, but also post comments on them. There isn’t enough thank you’s for this honor.

Evan, you and Kathy shine the light of Christian Science as you go. Walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Your blog is a lifter up of thought and I love that you are “in the world, i.e. playing tennis, out and about” but “not of the world.” Not hiding in your office and clinging to the truth for yourself, but out there, sharing the light of Christ and seeing the best in everyone as you journey. In thinking of your blogs this year, I would have to say your blog on the simplicity of a membership application in Australia has impacted me most profoundly. I have shared that article over and over. That we make membership into our branch churches so exclusive is one of the mysteries of life! Come, all ye that thirsteth…Jesus would have had no membership requirements other than a hunger for righteousness. Let the barriers come down! Thanksgiving love to all.

I was thinking of the blessing it’s to study this wonderful Science that God revealed to Mrs. Eddy!… there is not on earth, to my view, most important treasure than this – to know God and ourselves as His expression – which is accomplished gradually in our daily application of the teachings.
