Scenes from Alaska 5

October 5, 2012 | 1 comment

Alaska is beautiful everywhere we went. There are so many stunning hills and mountains, trees, greenery, waterfalls and glaciers to see. Also lots of clouds, fog and mist from all the precipitation, so picture taking was not always easy! But we captured a few good frames.
A view from our dining room window one evening…the most stunning rainbow in full vibrant color I’ve ever seen close-up.

  1. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing the frames. I once saw a rainbow while driving with a friend on the highway. It was raining and the road was slick as was the hood of the car. I asked out loud, “I wonder what’s at the end of the rainbow?” Immediately the rainbow reflected off the road and the hood of the car and was heard Love’ answer “it was us!” Not only is God our treasure, but we’re Love’s treasure.” I’m so glad to be reminded of this through your sharing in this blog. Happy adventures!
