Most of what we say and do is not essential. If you can eliminate it, you’ll have more time, and more tranquility. Ask yourself at every moment, ‘Is this necessary?’
I am a student of Christian Science. Right now I am going through a rough time where I need 24/7 Nurse Aide help. This is a challenge to me for I see exactly what Mrs Eddy means by making moments count. There is much gossiping among the aides which I find unnecessary. Much could be done in the positive if they could join me as I work out my salvation.
Wasn’t this exactly what occurred during Jesus’s time in the Garden of Gethsemane when he could of used his disciples who were found sleeping?
We must be alert to adding unnecessary baggage as we prepare for each day’s forward journey? Such false accumulation weighs us down with weariness, a useless load impeding one’s progress. Our conversation should be to listen and to glorify the Speaker. Our activity then is to preach, teach, and heal. “Action speaks louder than words.” Thank you so much, Evan.

Great Point, I need to revamp some of the things I say and do.
