That is a great quote for any student thinking about International Relations and any one else, too. Not to take in the human view is the first step, then we need to know the truth that is intact now and always.
Very nice. I’ve thought about this topic a great deal in my mediation practice. What I’ve discovered is that to bring about peace one must be peaceful themselves. It is very difficult not to be drawn into another’s high emotion for sympathy or to extend the conflict as a combatant. But to present peace as an alternative to what currently exist in thought often brings it about. Also, peace complies with God’s law of infinite supply, the more your bring it into your experience, the more there is off it and therefore, the total amount of peace possible is infinite.
Appreciate this thought and it applies to all the good relationships we want to have, marriage, friends, etc. They all take some conscious effort ~ and it is well worth it!!
