Truths worth pondering

I gained many insights when studying the following words. I think they speak for themselves.

Seven Deadly Sins

Wealth without work
Pleasure without conscience
Science without humanity
Knowledge without character
Politics without principle
Commerce without morality
Worship without sacrifice.

  1. 1. Wealth without work allows no pride in one self which comes from God.
    2. Pleasure without conscious allows no empathy for the other person.
    3. Science without humanity allows no respect for the living.
    4. Knowledge without character allows cheating, lying and thriving.
    5. Politics without principle allows tricking the people a Politition serves.
    6. Commerce without Morality allows lying about what one cells just to make money.
    7. Worship without sacrifice allows matter to take the place of Spirit.

Upon study, this is what I came up with. Would appreciate comments.

    1. 1. Would also promote idleness. 2. Would also promote immorality. I think what you came up with are very practical.

      1. Tobias,

Your words expressed worlds of gaps, between moral and immoral living. Thank you for expressing with words in #2 what I learned this week in a court of law, about immorality going unpunished.

The law simply left specifics and vacancies of words as well as vague, inapplicable legalese for us as a jury to use to convict the guilty party, so the person was found “not guilty” under the law. In short SCANDALOUS.
