‘Tis true, when we actively work to bring peace to our surrounding environment, the peace created resolves conflict in that environment that would deprive us of peace to begin with.

The good you do for another, you do for yourself.  It’s not selfish at all, but allowing the hand of divine Love to work through you for the blessing of all, with you included.
