In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me

there lay an invincible summer.

  1. Ha!

On the surface, the photo and verse match, until one realizes that the tide will turn the summer sandman to uninvincibility pretty quickly!

This reminds me a bit of a mini-lecture titled “Love wins,” about how spring always wins over winter: see http://christianscience.com/lectures/daily-lift/?s=Maryl+Walters and scroll down to “4/5: Love wins” and click on the audio button.

My takeaway is that Love is invincible. Love is as strong and steady and penetrating as the warmth of the sun. Love melts the snowman of winter and turns it into an invincible summer of sun and fun making an invincible … rockman, which the waves cannot break!!! 🙂
