I love the practicality of this quote. We know when we’re going in the right direction. And we know when we’re not! When we’re not going Spiritward , we are allowed (in fact, urged by God) to make a u turn, to get back into sync with divine direction. The outcome for making that U turn HOME is always good!
Thank you very much Evan for this short but profound and comforting SpiritView today!
Would say, what Grace mentioned, that God not only “allows” but urges us to make a u-turn when needed – and that is so so very good and comforting to know that God is caring for us!
Thanks, Evan, and Commenters! I’ve found that when I make a conscious, prayerful effort to turn my will and my life over to God each Day and ask for the Willingness to Surrender, God does turn me around so naturally. I just need to “Hang on Loose” and be Willing to be guided and directed!
A favourite article is by Adam Dickey “God’s Law of Adjustment” in which he states that unless we are prepared to drop human will and be ready to let God guide us completely, we are not letting God’s Law of Adjustment take place. When we take self out of the equation and see God in control, we experience God in control. It may not take us where we imagined, but “Eye hath not seen nor ear heard what God have prepared for them that love him.”
Thank you Grace, – being at HOME is being with God, – about turn may well be required!! It’s made me check where I am going…….. https://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1916/1/33-10/god-s-law-of-adjustment
I looove this!! 🙂 🙂 ( and boy, do I know how to make some tight U turns!)

Persistence is not a virtue when we’re going the wrong way. Thank you, Evan!

Thanks for your comment, Ken, and yes, “God`s Law of Adjustment” by Adam Dickey, Mrs. Eddy`s last secretary, is really worthwhile reading!
Needed today. Thank you Evan, Bevi and Ken, in particular.
