“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’”
Thanks, Evan. Great message.
Evan – thank you. This reminds me of a thought from a Sentinel article…sharing God’s supply and it won’t run out.
I like that you showed the down-the-line reward of bountiful giving, the harvest, the result of patience.
it was amazing how much Mrs. Eddy gave to other causes…. in addition to her loving healings!
Thank you very much Evan!
Giving is not always money or presents but rather good deads.
Sometimes in church I am asked to work out a reading for the next Wednesday in substitution although I already have other important offices. But I do it with love and joy for God, for that reader for whom I do that and for our dear congregation.
Also helping neighbors or family members can be done with joy and gratitude for all the good w e receive so freely from God .
Yes…and giving smiles and cheerful greetings are so easy to give ..to all we meet or pass by. “Love is reflected in love.”
thank you Kathy, so true; very well expressed! 🙂
Give with no thought of receiving.
U are all so spot on. One always receives more by giving, at least, in my experience.
This is the season to express abundance, joy, love, and good will. I love it.
