Do I understand this: The things that count are spiritual and cannot be counted or seen by the material senses, although they often can be felt by the heart. The things that can be physically counted are material and in Truth aren’t worthy to be counted.
I Cor. 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
You have the right idea. The real and true is in Spirit. There isn’t anything to count except the real and true!
But there is no loss in matter either. What we think is a necessary material thing has a spiritual idea behind it that is eternal. Focus on the spiritual idea, not on the temporal thing, and you’ll be in touch with what truly counts in the long run.

Evan: Thanks for the reply, well thought!
