Because of my study of Christian Science, I have developed a discipline of fearlessness of saying what I think, right or wrong, with the knowing that God alone would let me know if I was right or wrong and show me how to correct it without blame. Wonderful C/S.
Absolutely! Good way to say it. Thank you.
Thanks for the reminder! CS is all about disciplining your thought. As the new hymn says, “Holding your thought to the good and the true, Spirit will form you anew!” (New Hymnal Supplement, Hymn 453)
Thank you very much Evan for listening and sharing your encouraging inspiration. I am about it since last night. Tonight as I was praying to know that the Christ, divine Love, is ever-present leading, guiding, protecting and sustaining us through the storm [in my country] I had sudden envisioning of God facing and encouraging me take my free steps again. It is just as what a mother does to her child who is learning to take her first steps [without a walker]. she doesn’t stay at the back nor at the side but a few steps in front of the child encouraging the baby that it is safe to go forward getting closer and closer to mother. This is the reason why I l prefer prayer-treatment in C/S because it requires me to listen and do or follow with discipline in order to succeed in the attainment of my goal, that is to be able to walk freely again without the use of a walker.
