If one listens too intently to media reports on the coronavirus, there might be a temptation to fear its spread. But fear is not necessary. We are not helpless in the face of the coronavirus. There is a metaphysical way to protect ourselves from infection.
As Christian Science explains, we live in a realm of Mind, where God is the only influence over the health and wellness of man. Everything in this realm is mental, spiritual, and good.
The coronavirus is a mortal belief that something opposite to God exists in this realm and can cause harm. This belief is wrong. It’s an erroneous conclusion of the human mind that can be reversed with spiritual truth and rendered harmless.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer of Christian Science, gave us useful insight and instruction on how to prayerfully protect ourselves from contagion. She wrote,
“If you decide that climate or atmosphere is unhealthy, it will be so to you. Your decisions will master you, whichever direction they take.
“Reverse the case. Stand porter at the door of thought. Admitting only such conclusions as you wish realized in bodily results, you will control yourself harmoniously. When the condition is present which you say induces disease, whether it be air, exercise, heredity, contagion, or accident, then perform your office as porter and shut out these unhealthy thoughts and fears. Exclude from mortal mind the offending errors; then the body cannot suffer from them” (Science and Health, p. 392).
Truth empowers you to neutralize the coronavirus, render it harmless and prevent infection. So, waste no mental time in fruitless fear. Put all your thought and energy into “standing porter,” and know the spiritual truth that disarms the coronavirus.
Don’t fear spread of the coronavirus. Eliminate it!
There is no life, truth, intelligence not substance i matter. All is infinite Mind and it’s infinite manifestation, for GOD is all in all! (SH p. 468).
So that eliminates any kind of error and fear.

My mind is full of loving, truthful thoughts as I sip my tea guided by wisdom.
yes, Lisa, it looks a bit as if the woman on the foto has a white mug in her left hand.
But yes, she looks to the light of Christ, from where comfort and healing comes!
The woman is looking to the light, – and that is where the answer lies! When we stand and look into the light of God we understand there is no darkness, no variableness, no virus, only the allness of infinite good. We cannot suffer from the dark when we are bathed in God’s light.
As we all are.
I need not fear the future, to find some distant time,
For God is speaking NOW to me, – with God all IS fine.
In trust and strong obedience, I hear so clear Love’s voice,
It tells me all I need to know: there’s no other choice.
I trust Thee Father-Mother, right now I’m in Your sight:

The story Mister God This Is Anna tells about the
war starting in England. Anna’s friends used their
toys to have a pretend war. Not Anna. The author
wrote, “For all her years I saw her then as I see her now, the sanest, the most uncluttered, and the
most direct of beings. Her ability to ignore the
excesses of information, dismiss the useless frill,
and uncover the heart of things was truly magical.”
To Anna everything was Mister God. She was
seven.
Good is ever present. Omnipotent power over error when understood. Putting the Truth to work and nullifying fear today in Evan’s precious jewel, Spirit View.
And the confidence expressed in Ken’s wonderful poem, which should be archived along with the wonders of Spirit’s most powerful, loving verse. It uplifts!
I shall adore it and print it out with Ken’s approval, share it with others.
Often strangers have come to me, to express some kind of concern. I know that they were sent to learn of God’s love for them and to be healed.
Humility is required to firmly state what silently comes to you in consciousness. It’s a process
designed to heal through Divine Mind. Not much need be said aloud. Seeing the Truth is quite enough. Then a gentle affirmation of Love’s presence, and the whole seeming error is eradicated, destroyed, world wide.
People will be at peace, and soon the Evangelical word will fill all hearts with the same confidence of Ken’s, {Mind’s!} poem.
Is there enough power in Love’s expression to heal this world? An affirmative yes is the answer!

I thank Spirit View and it’s Positive thinkers for the treasures of the Truth
which are so helpful in not getting drawn in by the negativity and fear
that the news often portrays. It comes down to realizing the Good versus
evil, that this negativity tends to always want to blame, rather than to work
together for Positive thoughts and outcomes. By spreading fear, panic, and it almost sometimes seems like glee that the economy is struggling, the news, (which is best not to ingest into thought), is definitely a force that we need to be aware of that tries to keep us from acknowledging our True being as reflections of health, harmony, calm and appreciation of all things Good.

I keep reading regarding the much publicised virus that some people are tested positive.
Thinking about this from the spiritual standpoint, the material claims can only test positive as a mental illusion, because according to the teachings of Christian Science, there are no material senses. Is there such a thing as a positive illusion? An illusion is elusive and has no intelligence, substance or power to make itself real.
From the spiritual standpoint, as created and governed by one infinite God, every one of us, everywhere, can only test positive to being completely whole, healthy and perfect as the image and likeness of our perfect heavenly Father. Christ Jesus proved this for us over and over again in his healing works and in his final demonstration when he emerged alive from what the material senses witnessed as his death – he proved the material senses to be all illusions and broke this dream for us.
My prayer is to see everyone tested as positively whole, blessed and loved by our Father-Mother God now and forever.

When praying for healing, I sometimes look up a definition of a word or words relative to what I am praying about. In breaking down the word “coronavirus”, Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary gives one definition of virus as: “: something that poisons the mind or soul//”; and a definition of corona as: “: the tenuous outermost part of the atmosphere of a star (such as the sun)”; tenuous is defined as: “: having little substance or strength : flimsy, weak.” This has helped me tremendously in denying any power to the lie of “coronavirus.”
I would also like to add my gratitude for Evan providing this forum for us all to read, learn, comment, question and grow more spiritually.

In the week of 9th to 15th February the Lesson-Sermon’s Responsive Reading included Isa. 62: 3 “Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God”. It struck me forcefully that no virus has any right to claim a crown of any description, any more than the great red dragon of Revelation had. And he was cast down in short order. So on the Wednesday the readings which came to me (I don’t claim any credit!) were on “God’s crowning, not coronavirus” and were shared with the confidence and authority of God’s government.
Probably one of the best articles to read on today’s topic and the world’s need. Written by Evan Mehlenbacher. So grateful for this article.
