Do you expect something wonderful and good to happen today? You certainly can, for that is all God has in Mind for you.
God is infinite good. God is on-going good. God is all-encompassing, all pervasive, ever-present harmony, love and peace. Every day is an opportunity to discover more of God’s love and care for you and to experience its blessings.
You do not have to accept a drab and dreary day, a ho-hum outcome or a less than stellar experience. You have all of God’s goodness to lean on and express to the fullest.
The so-called material world is not in control of how successfully you live this day. You have God-given dominion to act with wisdom, gain inspiration, defeat enemies, leap over obstacles and advance down a path of progress.
No person can stand in your way. No false belief can stymie your understanding of truth. No fear can stop you from moving forward. No mystery can remain unsolved.
God is watching over you ensuring you have everything you need to fulfill His plan for you. And that plan is wholly good!
God wants only the best for you. God has designed your life to be blessed. God is your Life! You are good by nature and have infinite good to reflect every moment of your being.
So, don’t expect anything less than you deserve today. Expect good! Watch for it. Expect it. Embrace it. Live it. Prove it.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” Romans 8:28, NLT.
God’s purpose for you is wholly good!
Am so grateful for this Evan. I have been worrying that a decision I have made has been the wrong one, but this has helped me to realise that God is in control of everything, not me, and I can leave the whole situation in His loving hands. Thank you!
I love Mary Baker Eddy’s definition of Day, on page 584 in Science and Health, “The irradiance of Life; light, the spiritual idea of Truth and Love. Evan, thank you so much for expressing such an inspiriting and joyous message today! Blessed day to everyone!
When God is infinitely good, why not expect good things to happen daily???
“From love and light which are the abode of Spirit (God), only reflections of good can come.”
“Omnipotence (i.e.God) has all power and to acknowledge any other power is to dishonor God.”
“Whatever is worthy and good God made. Whatever is valueless and baneful He did not make, hence its unreality.”
“God could never impart an element of evil and man possesses nothing which he has not derived from God.”
Secondly all things work together for good. Things may not always work up to our expectations. That does not mean good is absent or God has forgotten or forsaken us.. He is the best judge. He can look into our future, which we can not see. He has a better and more wonderful plan beyond our imagination which will bless us abundantly, not only in the present but also in the future… So we need to put complete trust in Him, knowing fully well that good alone is in store for us, even if the present scenario does not look rosy or as per our expectations…
Hymn No. 350: “Faith can sing through days of sorrow, All must be well; While His truth we are applying, And upon His love relying, God is every need supplying All. All is well.”
Thanks so much Evan. I did need this inspiration and my need is beautifully supplied. God bless.
Thank you Nergish – your comment is needed, too – so very helpfull! 😉
Evan, thanks so very much for your very big Easterpresent for us all.
That is really very much needed and loved! 🙂
Some years ago I had a job of which I thought I could not manage
on my own. I felt somehow heavy laden. Then while praying I said
to me: no thats right I cannot do it on my own and I must not,
because God is in control; and I have to leave it wholly unto His
management – and I did. Yes I had helpers then, but also that was
completely under God`s control so in the end, more than two years later
this job was done to everybodies satisfaction, who where involved in it.
Thank you Linda for reminding me, always to be grateful for Gods
loving everpresence and for His help and being in control. 😉
Perfect thought to support our public lecture today in downtown Atlanta, GA! Seeing good already
Thank You!
Thank you so much Evan and spiritual viewing commenters. Again, just what I need this morning. In a world that seems bombarded with materialism and negativity in so many ways, it is so helpful and refreshing to read these words of encouragement that help us expect and receive the Good that is always there for us.
Yeah, God!!
Perfect, thank you!
Defeat enemies?…..I know of no enemy
God’s Mind, our Mind
Guides
Directs
Synchronizes
Inspires
Brings together
Sets aright
Reveals

Is
Truth that heals
On sunny days
and starlit nights
On rainy days
And dark cloud nights
Obscured or not
it’s always here
Believed or not
It does not care
With a book of clues
within my mind
pointing to where
the treasure’s found
Thank you for sharing that poem Maximo! How beautiful and how perfect for helping me set my thought in propper alignment for today.
“Prove it.” (Prove good) That’s really what it’s all about. Demonstration of the good God is and endows on us. Thanks for this today, Evan.
This post reminds if the story in last week’s bible lesson about the Shunamite(have no idea if I spelled that right) women that Elijah stayed with. When her son died she went to find the man of God, and when the servant asked her how things were, she answered and said “all is well”. She never bought into the belief that her son had died, she held steadfastly to the good and the enduring truth that everything was already well. Because of this view point her son was healed. What are we expecting? What we expect is what the outcome will be.
Thank you Evan and Commenters, God is so good to have each of you to share your posts today. Blessings to all of you and as MBE writes, for those leaning on the sustaining infinite , today is big with blessings.
Expect good, It doesn’t do any good to think otherwise. I had a brother who always was working towards expecting bad things to happen. I really loved him because he was also kind and very generous with lots of compassion. But the side effects, if you will, of expecting bad is the continual struggle with error. It was a battle he fought all his life and he won most of them except winning the battle with struggling. It is one thing to wrestle with the angles, but at some point, I believe we are suppose to win the struggle, stand in humility without the continuous wrestling moment and express joy in celebration that God, divine love, approves of us as expectant good.
Josef… thank you so much for these
clear, loving statements…
So needed this todaty. Thank you Evan.
Great posts! Thanks, Evan, and everyone for your expectation of good. God, Good, is All!
Stand fast, acknowledgement will come and all is well.
