You are conscious of all kinds of things during the day. Errands to run, other people’s opinions, what the boss thinks, how to earn money, find more time to do more work, please a friend, and more.
Instead of letting thought be monopolized by mortal mind worries and fears, why not seek out a spiritually inspired state of Mind instead. Why not focus on feeling God’s presence, understanding Truth better, and living a spiritually inspired Life? As Eddy writes, become conscious of Life as being purely spiritual.
When you are conscious of spiritual life, the rewards are immense.
As thought soars with spiritual reality, it leaves mortal discord behind, suffering sense vanishes, heavenly harmony and peace take over. It’s a metaphysical place where finding “yourself suddenly well,” is doable.
Thank you Evan for this beautiful reminder. I’ve been learning more every day about turning away from material life and all it’s worries, and that my focus hould be on feeling at one with God, knowing that the rest will be taken care of in the very best way…what a relief!

Only the consciousness of Life as Spirit can destroy the false belief of sickness /lack -that material veil needs to be rent !

Dear Richard, Mrs. Eddy tells us: “The material body, which you call me, is mortal mind, and this mind is material in sensation, even as the body, which has originated from this material sense and been developed according to it, is material.” (SH. 416:16–20)
So that which you are calling “me” may be seeming
to be not feeling good, but IT’S NOT YOU.. You can

The lying suggestion of the false material senses cannot and have not touched you. You are free right now. God loves

Amen to what we can do. . . . at every suggestion of material unreality. The cure of knowing “become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual brought complete healing of the material sense of something draining from my sinus, and when the prayer was taken up, the sensation of something needing to drain stopped. I continue to rely on the Truth, which needs no material evidence of draining. I continue to thank God for the healing proof.

I intuitively realize–or at least believe I do–that absolute Truth IS…that there are divinely-scientific facts of being that are true of all of us, of all creation. I have learned something of these facts through the study and application of this Science, and am grateful for every glimpse. Yet, yet, I still wrestle–sometimes mightily–with what seems to be life apart from the absolute facts…the material sense of life and intelligence. To have a “single moment” of true awareness that “Life and intelligence are purely spiritual, neither in or of matter,–” has been difficult for me. I definitely see the value and intelligence of so doing, but it is challenging! My question sometimes has been: Is Truth…”practical?” Who will take the garbage out, while I am taking my time in “realizing the Truth?” Who will feed the kids, go to the office to make money, pay the bills?
Oh dear, I have exposed myself here…so will remain anonymous. Not that I am ashamed, for this is the human condition of doubt and fear, I realize. Thank Goodness God is present, always, to inspire each struggling heart! And, Evan, your Sentinel Watch Interview today was beyond inspiring!! You are a wonderful example of how to live and love the Truth!! Thank you!!!!
