  1. Hi dear Joan,

I think, this i s the Christmas message.
It means, Christmas is not merely buying presents, big Christmas Turkey etc

First it is giving Love to our neigbors.

And most important “it is the coming of the Christ, Truth in our conciousness and therewith in our experiences”. That brings comfort, safty and the healing Love to humanity.

Thank you dear Evan to let us ponder more deeply today`s simple SpiritView, yes to think about that sentence from a Spiritual View of point 🙂

Love to all! And I am looking forward to all your lovely comments! 🙂

  2. “MAYBE, the Grinch thought (character from the book and the movie The Grinch Stole Christmas) Christmas doesn’t come from a store.”

What a perfect message, Evan! No, Christmas is a heart thing! It is a time to ponder the coming of the Christ to the human scene in the life/works of Christ Jesus, our Master and to pray earnestly to reflect, in a degree, that spirit of the Christ. Not to be found at Target or Wallmart!

“Peace be unto you” (Christ Jesus).

  3. Thanks for this message! It’s right along the lines I’m praying with this morning.

I make jewelry, and am having a sale today involving several other people, one of whom I haven’t met. My goal for the sale is that everyone who comes, leaves feeing better – whether they buy something or not! I am praying, with the ideas from the recent post on Love and Principle, to share this with the others involved.

I know God is in control! And we can share the spirit of Christ Love with all who come – and those who don’t as well!

  4. I think maybe Joan is referring to yesterday’s SV. It wouldn’t load for me either, but I was able to load it from this page, at the bottom right where it lists previous blogs. Hope that helps!

  5. The Christ exist within
    all beings…
    This is the most True
    reality…
    Wake up dreamers and

    1. …and let`s feel our hearts burn
      with Love and knowlege
      of our true
      Christly You ! 🙂

Hi Maximo, does it fit so, the continuation of your lovely poem?
Thank you for your poetic thoughts.

  6. Good day Evan and wonderful group. Thanks Evan. What a theme! I would say it is “the theme”. As a personal experience, and this is not the exception, talking about Jesus, his birth, his message the Christ, make me thrill, my eyes sparkle. Christmas is the birth of that wonderful being who came to take the veil out of our eyes and show us the reality expressed by the Christ, that Jesus had the mission to show us and pave the way for us. Christmas has a wonderful spiritual meaning, gifts are secondary. Today’s comments moved me all. Thank you. Nergish I would like to read a comment of yours on this topic in particular, you are very rich in clear and forceful spiritual ideas.

  7. Yes, Christmas is the spirit of gratitude to God for giving us His Son, the love being shared unselfishly with all who cross our path, the joy and beauty expressed through the music and decor of this season. These are the spiritual gifts that we give one another and that can lift our hearts. And there is no pressure or anxiety in them, no frantic search for the “right” gift. The spiritual gifts we give one another are the only ones that truly count.

  8. What a wonderful quote. Thank you! It evokes the image of the Grinch’s face glowing with wonderment and the dawning of the idea that Christmas is about loving one another–his heart growing and growing and bursting with love. That is the feeling Christmas should bring to us, loving our neighbor unconditionally, just as God loves each of us unconditionally.

  9. Our purpose is to LOVE. I am reminded by Ellen’s comment of a time when I had a sweet tiny shop in England. The items were made with such love and care, whether new or old by individuals from different parts of the world. Included were hand-made teddy bears and lovely jewelry. Soft music played in the background…it was a place of refuge from the things of this world. For me having this little shop brought a sense of JOY and GRATITUDE. Gratitude and Joy for the artisans, for the people who passed by and waved, or took a moment to thanks me for being there…for each and every one who walked through the door to look, or just say hello! One day, a woman came in, and quietly looked around. As always I said hello. When she was leaving she took a deep breath, she thanked me, and said she loved coming in, being in the shop brought her much PEACE! She didn’t buy anything. YET her words, have given me a gift that is immeasurable. To value one another, to treasure each moment…and to see divine Love in each and every thing!
I am grateful for the opportunity to share this little treasure.

  10. That quote from the Grinch is the best part of the story. Linda, to me, pegged what you all were expressing….the activity of Love!

  11. I think what Joan may have been referring to is something that I’ve wondered about, too. When I get the e-mail notification from SpiritView, it shows the beginning of the text, such as in the post A Rule to Live By, a couple of days ago, my e-mail showed the main statement, When in doubt, always tell the truth, but then below that was another line, “The post A rule to live by appeared first on …” which did not show up on the SpiritView site. And today’s e-mail showed the beginning of another sentence–“The…” below the quote from Dr. Seuss, which made it look like there was more to read there. Maybe it’s insignificant?

  12. What a thoughtful, inspired man Dr. Suess was to inspire our children and grandchildren with a much needed reality check on the meaning of Christmas…and in such a delightful way!

Linda’s comment summed it up perfectly…”Christmas is about loving one another” <3

  13. Evan, thank you. What a wonderful thought! If the grinch can break through the mental thought that Christmas is all about shopping, well, so can we.
I think of Christmas as being an awakening to God and God’s love for us. In The French language, Je suis means “I am”. If you take the “i” (ego/mortal mind) out, it spells Jesus. To me, Jesus showed us God loves us. We are his beloved children. We have an amazing birthright! Wake up and know this! It can be easy to crucify this messanger in our own thought though. But, when we listen to this beautiful messenger, we are blessed.

  14. This is wonderful!
I think I may read “The Grinch” I’m not familiar with the story or character, other than Jim Carey’s portrayal
