Are you holding a grudge, maybe cherishing a resentment against another person?
If so, you don’t need to carry that burden around any longer. There’s a way to resolve negative emotions and find peace of mind.
I share how in this vlog that was filmed at Canyon Ferry on the bank of the Missouri river in Montana when Kathy and I drove through in September 2025.
Cherishing a resentment
What a turn of phrase!!
Yet, upon reflection, purty doggone accurate at times.
Thank you, Evan.
Your comments, which made me chuckle in spite of myself, are right on – almost searing !! Thx !
Who actually is quickest to the benefit of forgiveness if it is not the forgiver?
Evan, Thanks for such an important message to ponder about today.
Why forgive? by Arno Preller

Such a powerful article on forgiveness! Thank you for sharing it. Evan’s vlog is such a simple yet powerful message “Forgive!” In our selves forgive! Love it.
Thank you Harmony for sharing the link to “Why forgive?” by Arno Preller. ❣️ Huger than huge!!
Thank you for sharing that article by Arno Preller. In comparison the incidents in my life that needs forgiveness seems small compared to his.
Such an important reminder, Evan. Thank you. For many years, negative past events would come to thought even as I would take casual walks. One day after praying about it, I came to realize that those events were coming to thought to be healed, not indulged.
Well said Bob. Didn’t think of it that way before. I assumed that when past grievances came to thought it was error tempting me to ruminate and stew over them. But yes I can see what you’re saying, they are coming up to be dealt with spiritually and released, healed, so I (and the other person) can be set free.
The one bird flying upward at one point in your video seems to say it all. Drop the earth weights, including those grudges or things that make us upset, and then we can be lifted up to a spiritual altitude. I needed this reminder today and am grateful.
Thank you Fenna. I agree wholeheartedly, and many thanks to Evan, for your cheerful insights!
Dear Evan I appreciate this vital message, and the second you get an intuition to share, do not delay! If I could have heard this message twenty or so years ago, it could have changed my life!!
Don
Thank you, Evan. As always, your timing is impeccable! Just this morning, I was snarling in my head about a family member who has treated me terribly for decades, and thought, “I have turned the other cheek wayyyy past 70 x 7, and she’s still such a nasty, abusive person.” On the tail of that thought was God’s thought to me: “You can’t claim for another person/being anything you can’t claim for yourself, for good, or for bad.” It made me think of Pierre Pradervand’s book, “The Gentle Art of Blessing”, with the story of the white birds, and the black birds of thought being sent to another, and that same bird will come back and be deposited within you. Thank you for your message undergirding God’s morning message to me!
YES, not only forgive, but do it quickly!! If you fall, you dont stay on the floor but you will get up immediatly, right? The same goes for forgiveness. It took me a long time to learn this. Thank you, dear Evan!
Thank you, Evan. Your Vlog is just what I needed to start my daythis morning.
Thank you so much Evan…..very timely and not just personally…..the world needs this thought.❣️
Thank you,Evan!
Some while ago and with experiences of observing quick forgiveness in others, a dear friend had observed that a rubber ball is not taken down, however much the thrower of that ball may be expressing anger or frustration. It just bounces, endlessly coming back to be thrown again. How like the grass that constantly expresses …”the meek shall inherit the earth” (The Holy Bible and S&H 516:13-15)
This reminds me of the old saying “a stitch in time saves nine.” Not only does forgiving quickly satisfy our goals of Love, but also repairing anything immediately will save us all time to love more in every moment of our eternal now. That saying also reminded me of the importance of repairing our thought of time, history and anything that falsely claimed to happen in our lives that didn’t reflect the perfect idea of Spirit. Those all need to be stitched or repaired by knowing their unreality sooner than later. Always forgive your neighbor and yourself as well as love. Thank you all for your thoughtful contributions here and Evan’s continued inspiration. Much Love abounds!
Such a beautiful message in such a beautiful setting for this very helpful, vlog.
Thank you so much dear Evan and all. Years ago there was a choice I had to
make to either forgive or hold a grudge. Once in a while, that little temptation
tries to sneak in to grumble over this situation or that, because of another’s
doing, but for the most part, the past is just a blur. Even if someone brings it up,
it is often so forgotten, that I truly can not remember the incident of why I needed
to have forgiveness. Relatives, at the time and friends of mine could not understand
how I could forgive, but like you had said, it only hurts ourselves if we don’t forgive.
Thank you so much for the reminder and to stay vigilant over any things that would
try to seep into thought that is not what we would want as a part of our true spiritual
self as a child of Father/Mother/God.
“Instant forgiveness” By By Maryl Walters. From the October 21, 2011 issue of The Christian Science Monitor:

How beautifully poignant, to utilize God’s love.
That shifts my perspective from me, about an effect, an alleged transgression against me, to the true reality of the perspective of being from God, the only Principal.
We really are the proximate cause of our own injury, until we humbly come to see we are not at all that important.
Alex and Carol you both made good points in your comments. This subject is one I have been working with a lot these days. Thank you Harmony for the helpful article. And Evan for the lovely vlog on this subject I love the vlogs and watched several others that came up on YouTube. Each one was on subjects I needed to think about. Love to all the Spirit Viewers.
Thank you!
Yes, Thank you Jane b, for your kind comment.
Thank you so much Evan 🙂
