From I want to I have

One of the quickest destroyers of happy relationships is selfishness. “I want, I want, I want”…is one way to end “I have.”

When mesmerized with “I want” beliefs and voicing them verbally or silently, pretty soon someone you took for granted may walk away and not want to return.

So, if you want to keep your marriage or friendship healthy and strong, stand guard against “I want” tirades and turn them around by acknowledging what you have to be grateful for. Focus on the blessings God has already given you.

Find completeness within, bring that feeling of completeness to the relationship, and the “I wants,” will turn into “I haves,” which is a much more pleasant place to be.
