I am thinking of Peter and John’s words as I read this: “Silver and gold have we not but in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk!” Talk about a GIFT! Seeing man in his true nature as the child of God is the best gift we can give anyone. Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad!
The sun shines. God is like the sun….shining Her divine love equally on all.
Sunshine is from the sun; no light of its own. Man is like the sunshine…reflecting light from divine Love, with no personal light or love of his/her own. Sunshine is…automatic, effortless.
Man’s loving is also thus. God’s idea, man can’t help loving and giving, by immediate reflection from the Source, Love.
Hue-mans (my spelling) who have caught a glimpse of true being are naturally loving, proportionately to their grasp of the true. Humans are, to me, sort of like man, but, for me, anyway, yet seeing themselves and others ” through a glass, darkly.” But manhood IS there! here! the real fact of our being now!
I hope you find this….illuminating! For me, every bit of light helps!!!
At some point in my career I realized that what I did for a living was really giving. Thinking of the people that benefit by what I do for a living gives me incentive to work hard and do a good job. I’ve shared this idea with my co-workers who were lacking incentive in their work and it has helped motivate them too. Whatever we do for a living probably affects someone, somewhere so doing our best at what we do for a living is one form of giving.
I hope we all love to give. Sometimes we don’t financially have a big pocketbook so it requires us to give much more of our heart and soul. My happiest Christmas memory was baking cookies with my daughter and then delivering them to our friends. Telling someone how much you love and appreciate them has real value. Offering to help someone in some unexpected way is true giving.
One of lifes biggest joys is in giving. It makes me happier to give than to receive. Thanks Evan for these lovely reminders.

Nice Walking In The Light With You All,
Stay warm and dry,

So beautiful and so simple. Love how Sir Winston Churchill put things.

Evan starts the thought. Then you all expand it so thoughtfully. Huge thanks to all.
