  1. That’s God talking; are you listening? I am,certainly! We all need that message everyday and we can have it just repeat those words!! ” I’ve got you” more we cannot ask, higher we cannot go. How comforting! thank you Evan, how timely.

    1. LOL!! Linda! : ) This reminds me of a prayer by Mary Bake Eddy
that I used to say as a child:

      “Father-Mother God
      Loving me
      Guard me when I sleep
      Guide my little feet
      Up to Thee”.
So sweet, endearing and loving … Whatever Seems to be a challenge,
God’s Got This! God’s Got Us in His/Her gentle care of Love!

  2. I’ve been on a 3-day trip to Athens, Greece from U.K. There’ve been billboard adverts on the roads using those precise words: ‘I’ve got you’.
Each time I saw the adverts I took the words ‘I’ve got you’ as a message to me from God.
Now here I am, at Athens airport, waiting for my plane home and Evan posts that exact phrase. Thanks God!!

    1. What a wonderful report, protected, watched over, with God traveling right along, holding you/supporting you/’gotcha you!! Wherever you go, there HE is!

  3. I once heard someone say “God‘s got your back” And I really love that. This picture makes me think God has my feet as well so we can truly “walk with love along the way”

  4. Thank you Evn – such a simple message – your message and the picture reminds me of the
song “On Eagels Wings” The dirst two c=verses are:

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord
Who abide in His shadow for life
Say to the Lord, “My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!”
And He will raise you up on eagles’ wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand

  5. There is a song, In the palm
    of His hands.
    The picture shows the loving
    care of being tenderly held.
    “I’ve got you” is perfect
    every day, but extra perfect
    today.
    Many thanks, Eva
    I’ve been surprised how many
time it has been said, Perfect for
    today.

  6. Maggie, I was writing and did not see
what you wrote. On Eagles Wings is
a favorite song I forgot, And hold you
in the palm of His hands was in it.
    Thanks.

  7. You, beloved child of God. He is your Heavenly Father. He never left you. You are bathed in his love and care. The one who needs and cries for love is not there. He is your invention. He is a shadow of guilt. Watch her disappear in the light of love. You will know what it is like to feel God’s grace constantly pouring out on you. Your willingness to know yourself as one who accepts Her means your willingness to be healed. To the release of manifestation, through the knowledge of the Truth.
The Son of God is free. The shackles have been thrown off. He soared to the heights of the Spirit and realized that those fetters were a shadow that flashed for a moment in his mind.
So what is there where illness and pain seem to be? There’s nothing there.
So where are you then? You are in God.

    From Alice from Russia

  8. Oh, yesss, of course! Sometimes (too often!) i forget Who is In Charge of me
and mine, and all. In this confusion i think i must DO something to Improve,
to Heal, to Do God’s Job, to…to….to……..Nooooooo, my job is to yield to Love’s Control, Love’s care, Love’s Dominion Over All.

This takes humility. A quality God’s idea, man, HAS.
So, I must have this vital quality, also.

    (Whew.)

  9. Thank you so much, Evan! Perfect for me today. Thank you to those who shared comments as well. Love and blessings to all.

  10. Oh thank you Evan and all!
Short (to remember ) Sweet (to immerse in ) and TRUE…( to be forever fearless) ❣️

  11. Evan thank you for today’s wonderful topic, I’ve Got You. A great comfort to me and love the photo.

Evan could you please help with something discussed on SV a few days ago (August 28). Our dear friend J has backed away from participating here due to an understanding that SV guidelines or intention is that we just give a short comment on the day’s topic and nothing else, no links to articles.

That day many shared love and appreciation for J and her shares and her article links and how much we were helped by them, and disappointed and sad to think she felt the need to back away from SV.

Evan can you kindly help clarify the confusion so that we will all clearly understanding your guidelines and concerns on what is appropriate for our beloved SV. Should we just avoid drawing articles from certain sites and stick only to literature approved by the publishing society?

Thank you so much for providing this special place for us.

    1. Rose, Evan will have to clarify this for you regarding this site. But I can tell you that as churches have expanded their literature distribution outreach from putting magazines in the laundromats, to phone and internet sharing, they have been notified of copyright issues. I am under the impression that blogs and websites that have shared content that is copyrighted have been asked to stop or pay for it. These words from a hymn I think are worth pondering:

True, the heart grows rich in giving; All its wealth is living grain:
Seeds which mildew in the garner, Scattered, fill with gold the plain.

      1. Thanks for your words Kay. Yes I do hope that Evan will respond and clarify for us. And I agree that those words from the hymn are appropriate here and very much worth pondering. Which hymn is that?
Blessings to you and all SV friends.

        1. Thank you, Cheryl, that hymn is so meaningful and
right on with its message. So lovely and true. …
“And, by serving, love will grow”. Each spiritual thought
shared Does help love to grow. I am so grateful for all
of the ideas shared here and have learned so much from
them. Thank you all, dear Spiritviewers! and Evan!

    2. Thanks Rose and Kay. Maybe SpiritView needs a mission statement. 🙂 And possibly this site is really for those new to Christian Science… I feel there is a large variety of “truth seekers” here, and clarity is always helpful.

      1. Dear J – I posted step-by-step instructions on how to copy links and paste them as a comment on SV, but my post was removed/deleted. I will try again. It must have been due to Evan’s super-duper spam blocker.

      2. Hi J, To your good point about a mission statement for SV, here is a possible one, in Evan’s words- “A site for seekers of Truth. A place to show Love, express Love and feel Love. It’s about healing! Healing with Love!”

    3. Sorry for the delayed response. I’m out in the wilderness, where there is no internet, so difficult to reply quickly. Some vlogs will be forthcoming though, telling all about it!

It’s okay to post links if they are to reliable sources. Using links to the Christian Science Publishing Society is always a safe place to link. They publish the best content on Christian Science in the world. There is a way to post links to their content that does not require a subscription to read.

Readers might be aware, that the spam blocker on my site often removes comments with links. Links are often a sign of spam coming in.

But otherwise, the purpose of the comment section is for readers to share inspirations they gained from the post of the day. It’s not meant to be a place to discourse on personal opinions and beliefs about topics irrelevant to the topic. That can be done elsewhere. The site is for seekers of Truth. It’s a place to show love, express love, and feel love. It’s about healing! Healing with Love!

      Thanks for all your care.

      1. “There is a way to post links to their content that does not require a subscription to read.” I’ll bite…how is this achieved?

          1. Hi Cheryl, thank you, I was able to open it. Could you please post step-by-step instructions for how you were able to “copy link” the article please? I’m not aware of this feature. Thank you.

          2. Dear Cheryl, the link you sent opens fully to read it completely, and you alo can listen to it, as it’s also read. It’s a short but beautiful testimony.
            Thank you very much Cheryl!

Thanks, dear Evan for this comforting and reassuring words of our divine Father-Mother to his very loved children!

Josef said it so right: “God got. a l l of us!”
The reason, God loves all his creation endlessly!♡

      2. Evan thank you very much for the clarification. It’s good to know that reliably-sourced article links are still welcome here. They are quite hard to find in fully shareable form if one is not a subscriber (as has been discussed here before), but we will persevere. If you have any suggestions please advise and thank you again.

Are links from articles on websites of journal-listed CS practitoners ok?

In this place of Love (SV), we can trust that any divine inspiration or Truth that is needed cannot be held back or kept from us. That is a law of God, He communicates to each of us what we need to know every moment.

        1. Hi Rose, I’ve observed that some of the practitioner websites have “copyright” on their articles. Also if someone has a subscription and wants to post an article from the CS Publishing Society, is there also an issue with “copyright”. That issue wasn’t addressed by Evan.

  12. Dear Evan, thank you so much for this simple but profound message. Our daughter passed away 21 months ago from cancer, and it has been a long, grief-filled road for us since. We had the song “On Eagles’ Wings” played at her Celebration of Life. It still gives us comfort. The sweet picture of hands holding those little feet helps so much! I can really picture her with Him, in His loving embrace. Thank you…

  13. What loving, comforting thoughts you have of your sweet daughter, dear Karen.
Thoughts of her keep her spirit always with you, which is, I’m sure, such an
endearing consolation for you, knowing that she is in God/Spirit/Love’s gentle
    hands. Big Hug to you.

  14. Thank you, Angel. I wasn’t sure if I should post my feelings, but you have made me see that it is okay. Your love for everyone and for our Father-Mother God shines so brightly! Bless you!

    1. Oh, Karen – Thank you for such loving words and Thank you for sharing your
original comment. I believe, by sharing, our thoughts support and comfort
each other and isn’t that what life is all about? Being there for each other,
especially when needed. Posting our thoughts helps not only others, but
ourselves as well. We are all blessed by God’s dear Love.

  15. I am very grateful for Spiritview. I was introduced to C.S. through Sentinels left in Laundromats. With Reading Rooms few and far between,in the U.K. anyway, how are people introduced to C.S now?

    1. VJand, and anyone wanting to read this article from Sally, this link will not open. But a link to the same article that will open is posted by Cheryl above.

VJand, so glad you were introduced to Christian Science through literature in a laundromat. I was in a laundromat not long ago and picked up a medical publication. I wondered why I was drawn to it, as it was not something I would normally read. I turned right to a page where a woman wrote of her healing of an incurable disease through Christian Science a few years ago. What a surprise! She is now a reader in a Christian Science church. I was introduced to Christian Science through taking a tour of The Mother Church in Boston. From today’s post I have resolved to let this idea of God having me, you, and everyone, will lead and prepare people to be led forward in the best way for them. And then if there is anything I can do, to act on it.

  16. Dear J – to copy the link, you press on the words “copy link” if you are reading it on your smart phone – or you click the words “copy link” if you are reading it on your computer – this will capture the link and hold it so that when you share it as a comment on SV, you press (if you’re on a smart phone) – or click (if you’re on a computer) into the comment section, and the word “paste” will appear. The link has been copied and pasted using this technique. There may be other ways to do this, but give it a try to see if it works for you. ❤️

    1. Hi Cheryl, thank you so much. xo I’m wondering if this feature is only available if it says the article is “shareable”. It seems if it doesn’t say “shareable” I can’t find a copy button. I do everything from my laptop too.

      1. Hi J – Every Sentinel and Journal article is shareable. Tell me if you are able to view this one, as an example. It is from 100 years ago. I am sending it to you from my laptop. I copied the link by clicking on the “share” option to the left of the article. As soon as I clicked on that option, a little window popped up that gave me an option to share to FACEBOOK, TWITTER, WHATSAPP, and EMAIL. Below those four options is the option to click on “copy link.” This is how I’ve copied and pasted this specific link. Can you open it fully?

        https://sentinel.christianscience.com/shared/view/xr68em8smw?s=copylink

        1. Hi Cheryl, I also can answer your above question. Yesss, it opens totally, haleluja, everything will be harmonious solved, as God is in control and loves us a lot!!!:)

        2. Dear Cheryl, Even though this article is from 100 years ago, it is still
timeless and a lovely article right now. Like how we are safe and
loved in the photo above, by Father/Mother God … and as the article
states, “Neither time, nor place, nor space can interfere with the
harmony of man in Science. If there were a place where God is not,
God would be finite instead of infinite.” This consistency of the
divine Love is very helpful in knowing we are loved, even though
sometimes things seem so unsettled and challenging to our
perception of what is going on.
But when we arose to the occasion of understanding our safety with
God’s ever presence, we step by step grow closer and closer to
the Love that sustains and cares for us.

          1. O, thank you so very much for your utmost comforting and loving comment, dear Blessed. This Truth and Love touches my heart, that does very good! Let’s have all a beautiful God blessed weekend !♡

      2. P.S. – The “share” button, for those who are wondering, is an icon of a square with a right-turn arrow inside of it. It is an option found in every CS article. Depending on how the article is opened, the “share” button can be found to the left of the article, or it can be found along the top of the article. You’ll see the “share” icon alongside a “bookmark” icon, and the “font size” icon, etc.

        1. Thanks a lot Cheryl, and God`s blessings to you, as well, to California, 9 hours behind the European time. Its abt. 11 pm here and should be 1 pm in California.

Cheryl, if I pressed the share icon, what do I press then, to get that article here into SV?

  17. I just mentioned that God is in control. I must pray to see that God is in control also when I have a problem with my smartphone. The emails from my computer should come to my smartphone, but presently it does it not. But God is all knowing and all acting on behalf of His beloved children. So it is also with today’s matter of posting suitable links to our loved SpiritView! 🙂

  18. Thank you Cheryl, I appreciate all of your help and posts. 🙂

Evan said: “There is a way to post links to their content that does not require a subscription to read.”

This is what I thought it meant, but was hopeful… It means if someone has a subscription (like Cheryl) they can share any article they want with another person who does not have a subscription (like me). But that doesn’t help anyone searching for an article/topic, because none of the articles are fully readable without a subscription. There is a one freebie article a month I think.

    1. Thank you, J. I apologize for using SV to post another comment on sharing, but I want to understand what you’re saying.

Are you saying that a person without a subscription can OPEN any article shared with them from a person who has a subscription? So, if I shared 10 different CS articles on SpiritView, you could open all of them — BUT you are limited in your ability to SEARCH for a specific topic within the Sentinel or the Journal? (I don’t understand what the “freebie” applies to. Is it limiting a nonsubscriber in terms of being able to READ only one free article or is it limiting a nonsubscriber in terms of SEARCHING within the CS periodicals?)

We always received wonderful links from you in the past. As a nonsubscriber, how were you able to do that nearly every day? As you know, we have been so grateful for your spot-on contributions and have missed getting your links. ❤️ I’m stepping away from my keyboard now, getting ready for the upcoming holiday. Thank you all for your patience as we try to sort this out.

      1. Hi Cheryl, no need to apologize, as we are both trying to understand and learn.
From Cheryl: “Are you saying that a person without a subscription can OPEN any article shared with them from a person who has a subscription?
        J’s response = YES.
From Cheryl: So, if I shared 10 different CS articles on SpiritView, you could open all of them.
J’s response =YES, AND YOU WOULD BE WONDERFUL AT SHARING ON SV! 🙂
        — BUT you are limited in your ability to SEARCH for a specific topic within the Sentinel or the Journal?
J’s response = YES, THERE IS ONLY ACCESS TO THE ARTICLE YOU SHARE, NOTHING ELSE. AND NOTHING ELSE IS FULLY READABLE IF I SEARCH FOR IT WITHIN SENTINEL/JOURNAL.
(I don’t understand what the “freebie” applies to. Is it limiting a nonsubscriber in terms of being able to READ only one free article.
        J’s response = YES
or is it limiting a nonsubscriber in terms of SEARCHING within the CS periodicals?)
J’s response = I can search, but nothing is fully readable, except the freebie article or if I do a trial for a month, which I haven’t tried.

From Cheryl: As a nonsubscriber, how were you able to do that nearly every day?
J’s response; During COVID and for awhile after, articles were free so I saved some of them. After a company buy out and job lay off, I decided to have a “subscription free” life and don’t subscribe to anything any more.
Thank you again Cheryl, and have a wonderful holiday weekend!
