  1. That’s the human mortal mind state of thought, isn’t it?

How can one be grateful for more if one isn’t grateful for what one already has?

    1. Hi Tobias, Either you or I misread this. I don’t read it as saying not to be grateful for what one already has….quite the contrary…I think it IS saying to be grateful for what one already has rather than always desiring what one doesn’t have (i.e. sort of like the old saying “one in the had is worth more than two in the bush”).

  2. Thanks Evan. ..makes me think of the manna…when they tried to keep more than they needed for their daily bread…it became stinky…my life became very stinky when I was trying to fill it up with stuff…and is now fresh and sweet…letting Gods love fill me full each and every moment…no more stinking!..

  3. Right here, right now God’s precious love is filling us with all we need. The reflection cannot lack anything that is in the original. This spiritual fact appears in our lives in a way that we need it to be useful to us and others. Thanks so much to all for giving us so much to ponder.

  4. This is quite a lovely topic. I was reading my lesson outdoors in the sunshine with my
God given gifts surrounding me. I am so grateful for everything in my life. I feel truly
    blessed .
