Humanly speaking, yes! How often we spend $ just to spend $. Do we need something or want something? That’s a distinction I taught my kids. And don’t spend what you don’t have! That’s another axiom to ponder. This blog made me think about supply this morning, more in the spiritual sense. That God really IS supplying me with infinite blessings and riches. And to all mankind! As Jesus said:”Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all these things shall be added unto you.”The added things come naturally and in the right balance as we align ourselves with the source of all good, God! Loved this, Evan, very thought provoking.
P.T. Barnum had this to say, and I paraphrase, “There is a sucker where ever you look.” The biggest temptation is these State Lotteries. You can’t make a fast buck, but you can sure lose all that you have financially. Also it makes a good person a glutton by tempting him that a fast buck is possible. One’s financial rewards come from sticking with GOD. God is always GOOD. Luck is either bad or good, and you don’t want to go there.
