“Know-it-alls don’t like being told what to do; they avoid the company of wise men and women.”
Let God be the “know-it-all” in your life. He will keep you on a much safer and wiser course than anything the human mind could ever plot or plan.

So true, some people think they are fantastic and never like to be corrected or told anything. Yes,,,they think they “Know-it-all” and remain secluded. I feel so sorry for such people and pray to see them humble and good.
I always feel our friends can see us better and if they can see and tell us where we go wrong, we should be happy for their moral courage to show us our drawbacks. We need to be grateful for such friends cause we can improve and progress.
God knows everything. “He is the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-loving God.” The more we know Him, the more closer we like to go to Him for “God is Love”. He lovingly guides us, speaks to us in our consciousness, directs us and shows us the safest and the best way which we should take.
Thanks Evan for the lovely inspiration.
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not on thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledged him, and he will direct thy paths. (Proverbs)
thank you Evan, for your todays SpiritView – and there is nearly nothing more to add to what Nergish and Bud made so clear, thank you for those Truths!
Bud, your quote from Proverbs is so meaningful and right on the target of Spiritual awareness,
Thanks!
What’s a “know it all”? Is that something God created? We must be very careful to recognize arrogance as hidden feelings of inadequacy and perhaps a call for love. I have also been helped on my way by some wise counsel from friends but we must be ever so careful not to add to the accumulation of negative information we receive. I remember once thinking, ” OK that’s enough information about what’s wrong with me. I think what’s wrong with me is that I have too much information about my wrongness. Could someone tell me what’s right and good about me?” We need oodles of information about how good we are.We are desperately in need of this in our world today.
Good thinking, everyone! Love what Charla wrote: “We need oodles of information about how good we are.” Amen to that!
Those who know everything knows nothing but those who knows nothing knows every thing. That’s the human ego that must come before the divine. Don’t be afraid of hurting the feelings of mortal mind for doing so is the road to success.
Wonderful Comment, Charla! Yes, we Human Beings do indeed need to hear a lot more about how Good and Innocent and Loved we are! I think it’s perhaps a bit of “old theology” to always caution people about not thinking how Great they are! Especially in C.S……. we must learn to love our Human Selves a lot, lot more! Love and Blessings to All! “How Could Anyone Ever Tell You, You were anything less than Beautiful….” from Songs for the Inner Child.
I recently heard or read a statement about having the humility to trust God. Now, in my morning prayers I ask God to give me that humility. We’re making a big change in our life and willfullnes certainly would try to lead the way. I love Evans statement to let God be the “know-it-all” and Bud’s quotation of one of my favorite Bible verses.
