Healing prayer is all about discovering spiritual truth, discovering our reality with God.
Spiritual sense is the open door to discovering spiritual truth.
To engage with spiritual sense, one must disengage with material sense, for material sense does not report spiritual truth. It reports temporary material belief along with accompanying fears.
For success, drop material sense and fully engage with spiritual sense. The healing ideas you seek will start to appear.

It is truly a most beautiful Bible Lesson this week. Mrs Eddy certainly enriched and explained the bible with her spiritual interpretations. For this I’m extremely grateful .
I found the following quote in some notes I made a few years ago. I hope it may meet the need of some of our SV family here today.
…….. I’ve learned that Spirit, God, is the only Life, substance, and Mind in my life and everyone’s life. All individuality and identity are safe and established, not in material history or characteristics, but in infinite Love, the Love that created everyone. As this spiritual basis for identity becomes clearer to the person seeking health or healing, inspired insights into one’s spiritual nature will restore both body and mind. This perspective reveals present harmony, present safety, present wholeness and health, and melts away apparent difficulties, or dis-ease. God is always Love—always everywhere, always able to communicate to each heart, to reveal one’s substance and status as His/Her spiritual reflection. There is no condition that cannot yield to the light and truth of this revelation. Speaking out of my own life experience, I can say that the possibilities for healing are infinite.

& Health page 209:31)
Spiritual sense is a conscious, constant capacity to understand God. It shows the superiority of faith by works over faith in words. Its ideas are expressed only in “new tongues;” and these are interpreted by the translation of the spiritual original into the language which human thought can comprehend.

I share something I have come to know better in the two years of study.
It is more about coming to terms with your true being has only spiritual sense.
Any input you gather and process with the ‘5 senses’ is a cloak or veil obscuring spiritual sense.
In other words, it is not acquiring something, rather it is shedding old beLIEfS that formed the world you thought you were a part of.
I have found repeating “I am” – just that, silently, displaces human senses.

The main reason I am writing today is to comment of Friday’s blog. I love the poem that was shared. I have known about it over the years. It’s a wonderful poem that I have shared with non CSers.
We ARE in the place where God wants us to shine and be a light for others. We don’t have to fret about it! it’s about giving that cup of cold water and not fearing to do so.
I love this “SpiritView” Thank you Evan for your countless blogs and your love for all of us!
Evan tells us that material sense, “…reports temporary material belief along with accompanying fears.” Material sense has accompanying fears because it presents life as unreliable, unstable, small, limited, dark, constrained, unsafe etc. If that were the true picture, it would make anyone full of fear. Fortunately we have God, Truth, Love to turn to in order to have some Light, stability, joy and reality shine through and dissolve those lies about Life. Thanks to everyone for generous sharings.
