I love DP – a wonderful artist who defies all mortal minds false suggestions as to identity and expresses joy and humour in abundance .
What an example !x
Agree with Susan that Dolly Parton expresses the Christ in so many ways. One way is that she started Imagination Library, which very generously sends millions of books to children from birth to Kindergarten in certain areas of the US. I have family members that have benefited from this program and the wonderful books they have received.
Thank you so much, J This article is so pertinent to this topic. We should beware of
labelling ourselves or anyone else in any way, except as the perfect ideas of God. Mortal
mind, so-called, identifies only from what they see people doing , or what they look like, or how
intelligent or not they seem to be, or by what their nationality or religion may be etc. But we need to look deeper and see ourselves snd everyone as Jesus did – seing that we are all the expression of the one intelligent Mind, God, who makes us all in individual and wonderful ways to express Himself. We need to always exercise our God-given spiritual
senses and look for the goodness, intelligence , beauty etc. in everyone, even if it mightily contradicts what the material senses are evidencing.
Thank you for this prompt to see ourselves spiritually – who we Really are.
Not as mortals with this characteristic or that belief in what limits our
thinking, but wholly Spiritual – not confined to a mortal sense or body,
but complete in the soul of our True being.
The quotation from Dolly Parton, and the following comments brought to mind this quotation from Eleanor Roosevelt, “Those who have more have an obligation to help those who have less”. Helping others is a Christly mission….it is not about money. To me, it is about everything else! We can only do this by knowing purposefully who we are, and then going forth…. bo be nothing but love….and to do good.

I love this quote! First heard it in a movie years ago and it just resonated with me.
Thank you always for SpiritView and everyone’s contributions. ❣️
I sure love her too. She expresses the Christ in so many ways. Thank you Evan for your continued inspiration.
Love her loving, humanitarian spirit! And this is what we strive for daily–living as a spiritual idea of God! Thanks so much, Evan!
