If you’re ever tempted to get overwhelmed with despair and discouragement when faced with a looming problem, you can conquer that despair by looking for the opportunity to grow spiritually and prove a significant truth about God’s love for you.
God’s law of progress requires that we keep growing spiritually. This means that we will never be allowed to put our life on cruise control, get lazy, apathetic, or neglectful about our spiritual growth. Opportunities to keep growing spiritually will keep popping up before us. To keep ourselves moving in a progressive direction, we must meet these opportunities with a willingness to learn from them and become a better person.
The human mind, in its ignorance of spiritual reality, may interpret a “problem” as a real evil that threatens health and prosperity. But in truth, it’s not a real problem at all. It’s an opportunity to grow out of some limited belief about life that we’ve been holding onto, perhaps for a long time. God’s law of progress is saying to us, “It’s time to wake up, grow more, and leave that limited way of thinking behind.” It’s an opportunity to prove more spiritual truth!
The opportunities to prove God’s omnipotence continue until all sense of evil is conquered with an understanding of God’s omnipotence.
So, waste no time in despair. Seize the moment! Fathom the opportunity at hand and prove God’s ability to keep you healthy and well. It’s the happier, healthier way to live.

As with others, this was just what I needed when I needed it, even though for decades I’ve been telling people the same thing, I had forgotten that in anxiety this morning, overwhelmed with very scary scenarios.
Time for me to remember what I’ve told so many others— that everything is a call to love— to better experience and express God. Everything is just practice for knowing and loving/glorifying God more and more, better and better, and for loving ourselves and others as ourselves, as a dearly beloved perfect complete child of God. And that everything is just a thought that has its corrective spiritual right idea. That this is just a dream we inevitably wake up from and it’s the truth that matters, not the dream. like the scared child with a nightmare, in spite of the imagination, and sensation, we are all safe. That it’s just a scenario, an imagined story problem, just like grade school math teaching us how to discern correctly and apply the laws that we are learning and to make those truths so real that they quickly automatically come to mind when needed. That it is a fun opportunity to think outside the limiting box and to imagine different perspectives and to practice empathy and compassion and flexibility and good humor detachment from our ego’s story. It is just practice for editing the story we believe, questioning our taken for granted beliefs, and liberating us with opposite perspectives, trusting that we always know the truth we need to know when we need to know it.
And in my case this morning, decades of healing proving that truth needed the extra oomph of reading it here and seeing that beautiful new fresh snow. Thank you. And thanks to you all for everyone’s prayers for the world recognizing and embracing the healing opportunities and your practical discipline in your own dream can further help me with mine. Thank you!

“SpiritView. Spiritual ideas that inspire healing.” Are the greeting words that start each SpiritView email. I would like to share a healing that was a result of listening to your vlog about thinking about God. I had a busy day and didn’t get to open my SpiritView that morning. Later in the afternoon as I returned to my car I decided to just sit quietly and open my SpiritView of the day. The message was very clear and as I finished listening I started thinking about God as divine, all-knowing infinite Mind. Then the angel thought came to me to call my sister. It had been almost ten years since I had seen my sister and after a number of offers to get together, phone calls and emails that went unanswered . I was quite puzzled and hurt. A few years later my wife and I decided to move from the midwest to the west coast and any attempt to reach out to my sister was set aside. Four years later I am now sitting in my car listening to and watching SpiritView. I immediately acted on my angel thought and called my sister. Guess what…it went into her voice mail but I was not discouraged and left a friendly message that if she was inclined, to return the call because I would love to talk to her. As I sat in my car my thought went back to the SpiritView and decided to go back and read the many comments left by the SpiritView family. As I finished reading the last of the comments my phone rang, it was my sister. We spent the next 40 minutes happily patching up any misunderstandings and getting caught up on the last ten years. After we spoke I forwarded her that days SpiritView. Later that night she emailed me that she had subscribed to SpiritView. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the healing of this relationship with my sister Thank you Evan. .

– Over & over ask: Do we see ourselves as human beings trying to get rid of problems, or are we identifying with – and as – God’s perfect creation, which doesn’t include a problem? This is a rejection of dualism. Christian Science starts from a different perspective – health, wholeness, and perfection is the established fact – now – and by seeing this clearly, we eliminate the belief that there is some problem we need to get rid of.

It is just what I needed, and it seems my situation looks like that dark cloud you spoke about in a past Spirit View or a lecture when your family was facing an unreal health situation. I need to find that again. The cloud lie was uncovered and disappeared along with the problem immediately for the whole family. I think you were talking about the lie of animal magnetism.

It came to me last night that the suggestions from mortal mind are like the advertisements we get in the mail and via email. Any suggestion of a problem is just an advertisement from mortal mind (mental malpractice — “be a law to yourself that mental malpractice cannot harm you whether asleep or awake”). It is clamouring for attention and belief and we can just delete them or throw them in the garbage as we do the unwanted ads that come.

When I have to work out something I look for proof of signifikant truth about God’s Love for me. Though I know God loves me, I ask, dear God what may I learn. But of course it is the opportunity for progress in spiritual understanding. That is so valuable.
