The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.

  1. This is along the lines of a prayer I loved when I read it –

‘Dear God, help me to be the sort of person my dog thinks I am!’

  2. Dear Evan; My thoughts exactly and I have submitted the same idea’s to the Daily Lift.
I had Dogs as I grew up and I have found that their Love is higher and more dedicated than any human I have known.

  3. My husband never had a dog growing up, and was perfectly happy with our two cats. I dog came into our lives through a friend who asked me to keep her when he traveled. That was the perfect solution. Her unconditional love has broken down my husband’s extreme dislike of dogs and I have seen him become a gentler, and more flexible person. She changed him by just being love expressed. We now keep the dog 90% of the time. What a blessing she has been!

  4. It is wonderful to look at the lessons I learned from my dog, Barkley. He was the love of my life. He didn’t know how to be anything but love.

  5. I never had a dog until our two sons asked for one because “all the other children at school had a dog.” We adopted a seven week old one from the Detroit Humane Society. He was perfect. He loved our family of four, outran a pair of greyhounds at Detroit Free Press columnist Charlie Mano’s 1st annual “Rosey’s Grand Mutt Derby” for honors, at the Michigan State Fairground at age 13, who joined me in the kitchen at 5:30 a.m. each morning to have the CS Weekly Bible Lesson sermon read to him, with my explanations that this Science also applied to him. He taught me; I became his student of true love for all of God’s ideas or thoughts. I am forever grateful to this breedless, but comprehensive representative.

Thank you, Evan for these beautiful daily Views of Spirit for us to contemplate and to act upon.

    1. Check out J. Allen Boone’s: Kinship With All Life and Letters To Strongheart. He became a dog student and oh, what he learned! Regards, Penny

  6. When our pet looks into our eyes, we can tell the love he expresses for us.
    We certainly love him!

  7. Amen! My dog went through class instruction with me, and just attended another Association as well. He is such a wonderful example of unconditional love! I am truly blessed to have him in my life. He is a wonderful healer, as well – even before class, he would figure out who needed love the most, and give it to them. When a friend was over whose mother was about to pass on, Rico spent his visit in his lap, giving him his unconditional doggy love. I never thought I could find a better match than my last dog, but it seems I should never underestimate God’s ability to perfectly meet my needs. Each dog I have, meets perfectly the needs I have at the time.

  8. It is wonderful to know that Love is the only thing that is real, and when we let it shine forth as us, we ar doing the only thing that is needed. What a blessing to all!
