Hi Evan: I was so inspired by your Daily Lift, that I prepared readings for Wed. service based on being prepared! What I found in researching the subject, of course, is that God has already prepared all good for us and that we only need to be prepared to receive it. I included the stories of the Shunnamite–she prepared a room for Elisha, and that prepared her for many blessings. Also the healing of the woman with the issue of blood 12 years, she really came to Jesus prepared to be healed; and the lame man that was healed by Peter and John. Thanks so much for the inspiration! Now I’m thinking about being better prepared myself for all of the opportunities for good that come my way!
